Great price on a useful device. Good size for video calls sp[eaker has great sound.

I already have the echo show 2nd edition. This size is great for bedrooms or kitchens. Same great picture and features.

I have a 2nd gen echo show and an echo show 5. This size is the sweet spot. Screen looks great and the sound is on point!

Daughter loves it, bought it for Christmas she can watch Netflix and other shows on it. Plus listen to music and the sound is pretty good. It was on sale, not sure if I would pay $100 for it.

I purchased this Echo Show 8 to replace my Echo Dot. I needed something to display the time. The display is clear. I like that it has a slot to plug in an eternal speaker. I have not tried it out yet, but it is nice to know it's there. I think the sound is good without an eternal speaker. If being placed in a child's room I would suggest you adjust the settings for kids.

Very good sound and works great as an alarm clock on steroids. I use it on my nightstand and it automatically dims at night to a perfect level. In the morning it shows me the weather when i get up and I play music on Amazon Prime to get me moving. This thing sounds great too! Heavy bass. Can also watch Thursday night football on this!

Easy to use. Set up is not difficult at all. The speaker is loud enough to hear upstairs while plugged up downstairs.

So many features to use. Screen size is perfect, not too big or too small. Very easy to set up and use.

Great product...sound quality excellent. Able to make clear calls and watch Prime.

This is my first echo device and was purchased for my elderly mother since she has problems with her cell phone and remote buttons. She is enjoying it very much and can call her children with just asking Alexa she can ask questions and catch up with her shows, listen to music that I was Surprised had such good sound she even enjoying the joke of the day. I'm very pleased with purchase

So far I've been loving my Echo Show. I like the updated camera switch to physically block off the camera. Now that I have a few other relatives that also have Shows, its nice being able to quickly and easily video chat with them as well as control my wide range of smart devices. The speakers are great for the size of the unit and has decent low end. Nothing crazy but can definitely fill a living space with sound even with talking and noise.

I've got Alexa's all over the house. This one went in my office so I could see who's coming/going to my front door with the Nest doorbell. That part doesn't work well, as I can't get notified when the camera registers someone at the door. I have to manually ask Alexa to show me the front door, and then there is a several second delay. And it only shows the video, can't talk through the camera. This probably isn't the case with the Ring doorbell. Otherwise the echo show works great. Decent sound quality. The cycling notifications can be a little distracting, and can't be turned off. I wish that were an option.

i really like how it works with ring doorbell and allows me to check the front door from any room its set up at.

bought this for my parents. Wished it was more user friendly on the actual device and not through the alexa app. Overall works great to video chat, listen to music and watch Hulu. Other than that.... no social media, YouTube or Netflix.

I own all 3 of the alexa shows and I think they all have their own merits. This model to me gives the best overall blend of the 3 but if you actually watch videos on them I would suggest getting the bigger 10" version. If you occasionally watch video, receipes, etc this might be the best overall one as you wont hurt your eyes looking at the display and it can still be viewed from some distance away. If you are into he Amazon eco system this a great device to have.

I use it for EVERYTHING!! I use it as a timer, check the weather, etc.

add all your security cameras with ease... play songs and watch movies too... highly recommended...
