This device works well for controlling and monitoring compatible smart devices. Being an Amazon product, it obviously is designed to steer you within their product and service lines but it is compatible with several other popular non-Amazon brands and services too. The screen and overall size of the Echo Show 8 is perfect for kitchens or other areas that this device would be setup to be interactive and control smart devices within your home and for streaming music or making video calls etc. Overall it’s a good product but I wish you could turn off the suggestions if desired on the bottom of the screen!

We are very much enjoying the Echo Show 8. It is simple to use, and the screen is the just right size.

I wish I gotten another one while on sale. This will almost spoil you. Only thing is remembering when something else around like the commercial for something and they say Alexa, it will recognize and start talking lol. Not a big issue. Only a few times I wanted it to stop playing something and switch that Alexa ignored me lol. Recognizing your accent sometimes may make difference but no big issues with this.

Great product! ITS a amazing speaker, Easy to use AND good desing

Bought it as a gift and helped set it up. Once logged in it produced pretty decent sound considering it's size and had decent voice recognition. Performs as advertised and is a nifty gadget. The hardware mic off switch gives a little peace of mind that it may not always be listening. Makes a nice gift as it is useful and fun and may not be something someone would spend money on for themselves.

This is amazing. Is way bigger than my 5 inch one. How ? Seems like a foot bigger. Lol but I keep it by me. Because my pictures on it. Plus the fun stuff that pops on it all day. Crazy because tried to move it to the other side of the living room. But ends up right on the arm of the couch. Where I have my coffee. The smaller one in is the kitchen. Only for now. Love the kitchen aide app.
