We have turned into an Amazon household. We have 3 fire sticks, Fire Recast, 4 Echo dots, an Echo, and now this Echo Show. We placed this Show on our kitchen island and it comes in very handy. We use it just like any other Echo, but the screen adds a lot more versatility. Our son uses it at lunchtime to watch YouTube. Upcoming events display on the screen as well as random suggestions and facts. There is a lot of customization to the Home Screen and for now we have tied it to one of our Facebook albums. We also have a Ring doorbell which displays on the Show as well. You can get video and audio from the doorbell on demand and will automatically come up when it is pressed.

Got this as a Christmas present for my wife. She has it located in the kitchen, and enjoys listening to music, checking the weather, etc while preparing meals. The 8" size works just right for us in this setting. She at first wasn't sure how much she would enjoy it, but has told me that it was one of her better presents this Christmas. It was easy to set up with our home wifi network.

Right off the get I was impressed by the sound from this Echo Show. Alexa play Metallica radio on Pandora...MASTER!! The new features are nice. One of the main reasons I bought this was to be able to view my Arlo Pro 2 cameras on it. After some tinkering and Alexa show me Garage camera there it was. It gives me sports updates as well as it flashes upcoming games so now I never miss a chance to see the Red Wings lose, haha.

Setup was easy. We've barely scratched the surface of what it can do. Mostly background music. The sound is better than the smaller similar units, but if you're interested in a higher fidelity, syncing a Bluetooth speaker, soundbar, or headset is simple. We added this to a pair of Dots, and had to look online for instructions to make them a coordinated group, but once found, it was simple.

Loving my echos....echos....echos! Hear the echo! The sound is so clear, Alexa is a life saver and I no longer have to quiz my kids on the time! We had other amazon products but didnt really get the house set up until the two echos joined our clan. I'm loving them! And so is the family! Thank you best buy for the great deal! Dare you to do it again! I would buy a few more for our friends and family far and wide!

I love this echo and all the options and skills it provides! I purchased one for myself and one for our youngest daughter so that we can video chat every day while quarantined! We also share our favorite recipes demonstrated and detailed on this echo. I connected our ring doorbell to the echo so that it shows us who is at our door! These are just a few of the many helpful tasks this echo provides to my family!

For my bedside, I was going to get the Google Nest Hub Max but it was just too big. The comparable to the Hub Max by Amazon Echo was also too big so I settled on the 8. The size is perfect. It works well. I still find that trying to tell Alexa to turn my Nest thermostats on or off etc is a challenge and more trouble than it's worth so I use my phone for that. As I only recently set it up, that's all I have for now.

Wanted an item to be able listen to music,weather easy to use and good value.

Grandparents love it. Such a great way for our family to stay connected.

i like it! i like that i can call it echo instead of Alexa because we have several of the devices. i can stream the news, music, ask questions. i know it will do so much more with smart home technology, i havent gotten there yet but so far its great. btw the speaker is very nice for such a small unit. i bought it onsale and with a best buy credit..its a bit pricey without that.

I purchased two echo shows, one for our nursery and one for our bedroom. I like that I can see the nursery from our echo show that’s in our bedroom. I can also talk through it to the baby if I need to. It’s also nice to play music on when I’m trying to put the baby to sleep, or to see who’s at the door if I am rocking her and can’t get up to answer it. Overall, I’m very happy with both and would definitely recommend.
