Sound quality is excellent, and so is the video quality. I love all the added features that the Echo Show has to offer. Comes with instructions on how to set up, but the Echo also walks you through step by step making it so easy anyone can do it. Great way to stay in touch with your loved ones.

A very nice display, it was just too large for my needs and I found that I was able to get better use out of the Nest Hub. Not saying the Nest Hub is better, I’d agree they’re both pretty great, but the Nest Hub does more for my Google-based smart home. If you have existing Echo products, this will make a great addition!

This is very easy to use and quite convenient at a great price.

I thought this was a really cool good purchase for the price. I can get recipes in a pinch and ask questions its really cool. But I only gave it 4 stars because I don't like that I can't use my youtube music account on it and had to subscribe to prime music to listen to what I want to hear. It still has apps like Spotify or iheart radio which is not my cup of tea. I also bought my mom one so we can video chat but it doesn't connect to Duo which is a Google app so we can't conference my sisters as well while on the device. But all in all it's not a bad purchase.

I bought 2 for my adult children and they and their families love it. My grandson was marching around with music from Alexa, and my daughter-in-law loves it for recipes on the counter, and more! I am waiting to get my Christmas present, the new Echo 10 (3rd gen.) as soon as it comes out so that I can join in on phones calls!

Love these echo 8s! When they are 50% off the value is great! Buy it either way. if your looking at 5 vs 8 8 is way better sound size etc. I recommend researching features it does a lot more then most people use it for. Great combo with ring or other brands that work with alexa. It's a must have if you have Amazon Prime membership.

I placed it in my bedroom and I absolutely love not having to reach for my alarm clock to hit snooze or turn off or even turn over to see the time. I have paired with my TV and night stand lamp and still in the process of pairing with my other equipment (stereo, etc.). It has made morning and night routines simpler. It’s a fun device to have around!

This was an upgrade from the original Echo Show, which still works, but “drop in” became slow and buggy. I use this in my kitchen for information, home automation and also to call my kids down for dinner, it works well and for the discounted price is a bargain for the value it delivers. Get the stand too if you want it to angle.

This is a great item for what it is, however the screen was too small for me so I got the larger version. I have Alexa's all over my house and I can vouch for how well they work. It's a great ecosystem and pretty much all smart devices are compatible with it. This Echo Show is excellent if you don't mind the smaller screen.

I love my echo show 8. I used it to talk to my dog every time I leave for out of town. The video is clear and the sound is ok. The only yhibgs i noticed that can be improved is the lagging and probably camet zoom and adjustment. All in all, its a great buy. The

I have never used a smart speaker, before, but got this for a family member who was in the hospital unable to have visitors. The video screen was a nice way to communicate, since we could not be there in person, and the access to Amazon Prime, photos, etc. was an added bonus. Thankfully I had a 20 something helping me set this up, as we had to set-up remotely and then drop at the hospital, with a set of instructions for the nurses to get it up and running again. I would say for the price its a nice little useful gadget! The only thing that would make me like it better - if it was cordless.

I finally caved and got an Alexa. I’m only wondering what took me so long to do so. This product is great with so many helpful features like drop in calls to the Alexa in your house, or a friends (if they allow permission) games with Alexa even single player. With or is my personal favorite game. Over all a great product

Bought it for my 70 year old mom. She loves it, she can turn her lights on and off she ask Alexa to tell her jokes and play music, mom mom gets a kick out of all the things she can do just by using voice commands. Added bonus is she can call me whenever she wants and we can see each other on our devices.
