I upgraded my show 5 to the show 8. It is way bigger so if you do video calls or have camers connected the picture is much easer to see. The 5 is about the size of a cell phone screen and the 8 is like using your tablet.

I haven't used all of the functions on it yet, but it certainly a very nice upgrade from the Echo Dot. The video is clear. Other family members had shown us theirs and some of the functios and making a video call with it, and that prompted me to buy one.

Great and easy to use product! Works well with ring doorbells and is easy to set up. You can use your personal pictures for screensavers! Best feature is that it hooks up to Amazon account and lets you know if your package has arrived.

I purchased two of these, one for my mother and one for my grandmother so they can easily see our 10-month old son whenever they want. Easy to use as long as everyone has the Alexa app; you must also call through the app in order for video to successfully work.

Phenomenal for family of all ages, BUT a Necessary Component to My Aging Mothers Security. This Links Up With Her Security Cameras, Allows My Kids And I to Visually Communicate With Her and She can ask Alexa ALL THE QUESTIONS She Wants!

Got as a gift for my girlfriend and she loves it! She uses it everyday to tell her the weather and news. Easy set up and great features. Oh and the sound on it is amazing! You won’t need a Bluetooth speaker for your kitchen jam session again!

Easy set up and useful for daily tasks. Love playing music and the weather display is awesome.

I have owned all the Echoes, and this in my opinion is the absolute best!!! I am enjoying it so much! Love the size of the screen. Perfect size to be able to see and read recipes! It offers so much, there's just not enough room on here to list it all. Try it!!!!

Very good and might be outstanding. Had a lot of difficulty setting it up and I had no help number to call from manufacture. Easy to use once you finally hit the JACK POT and get it set up. Note I am 71 years old might be easy for the young.

Love this item and the 5 so much. They deffinitly passed my expectations and helps my new baby sleep as well. Alexa plays my spotify mixes and shuts off after an hour or 2 unless shes being talked to so deff saves energy. Love them

I own quite a few Alexa devices. But this one i like the most. Much better than 5 “ model. You can actually see stuff on it. Now with Netflix available i use it often in the kitchen. Love the function to slow past photos as screen background.

We ended up buying a total of 4 and want to get 2 more. We also encouraged my sister in law, and nephew to buy them for their family. We are able to check in on my mom daily. Its great to be able to see her. Wish we could do group chats ... my only issue

Great product and very wide screen. Much bigger than the Echo Show 5. However the screen is bothersome when sleeping at night as the backlit screen is pretty bright at night even when the device is not in use

I love my Echo Show! I have the ability to visually see recipes, watch music videos, and even video chat with friends and family. My son uses to it find out sports scores and highlights from the night before. I highly recommend the Echo Show!

My dad absolutely loves this as he can see and talk to his brother easily that lives far from him. It has brought him happy times to talk and see his family the best that he can.

I have really enjoyed my Echo Show! I listen to music while cooking in the kitchen and have enjoyed a couple of the recipes it provided. Haven't done much more with it but plan on learning more about the features to get the best benefits!

The screen is good. I wish the camera was a little better especially for use in a kitchen when video calling. How the design is, the camera points at the ceiling and the image gets washed out because if lighting. I purchased the adjustable stand and that helped a little. I wish it was easier to turn off the hints, tips and news stories. Overall would I buy again yes. I hope future generations are better.

Works great. I use it for my alarm clock, listening to music, making orders and more very handy to have.
