Bought this to replace a 1st edition Echo in the kitchen. We use it all the time for multiple kitchen timers the screen helps keep track of all of them, especially if you name them like “rice timer” or “chicken timer.”

My wife wanted something for the kitchen to use for baking / cooking. This works very well. She can not only watch her recipes be performed while she is working, she can add items to her many shopping lists.

This product is amazing! I absolutely love just being able to ask Alexa if she could open Hulu for me or if she could play music! The stereos sound so much better than the echo it’s insane! I highly recommend this product!

The Echo Show 8 has excellent sound quality for listing to your favorite music or watching your videos and good screen resolution. I am very happy with this unit and its great for making phone calls.

I have my Echo Show 8 on my kitchen counter. It makes the time spent prepping meals & such go so quickly. You can catch up on the news, explore new recipes, & listen to & learn all the lyrics to new & old music! Love it!

This works as perfect as I thought it would. It has even more capabilities than I even knew. I love that my children can video message with their grandmas without constantly having my phone.

Great information device. Mounted it in the kitchen and it is used for video calls, news, home automation, recipes, and music. Great picture and sound. Worked so well I got another one for my office.

I had the smaller echo and upgraded to the larger size and boy did it make a difference. Inside the echo way more with the larger screen. Loving the drop in feature

We purchased the Amazon Echo Show 5 last year. We liked it so much we upgraded to the Echo Show 8. Great vibrant screen! Like the Show 5 easy to link with the other Alexa capable devices.

I’m very happy with the Echo Show 8. I have it on the kitchen counter and it’s the perfect size. The sound quality is very good and has a great display. Amazon is always updating and adding new features as well.

what else can you say about this device it has everything you can ask for and i would highly recommend it for educational purposes it really helps you to be connected to the world.

I am so in love with this product. It is easy to set up and easy to use. The only issue I have at times is it loses internet connection and I have to reset modem. This has only happed about three times since owning it.

Buy it Love it. Way better then the 5. When they're on sale it's even a better value must have if you have Amazon Prime membership. Got white for kitchen and black else where. Speaker is great sound!

I was looking for a device to put in my elderly parent's home. It had to be "no touch" so that my mom (90+) didn't have to know how to use it. This device does the trick but you really have to figure out (and work with Amazon) how to set it up to meet one's needs. Once it's set up, all I have to do is "drop in" and the device picks up for a 2 way video call. That is drop dead simple.

Wonderful gift!!! Love this device! Favorite feature is the video calling which gives us a safe way to connect with our elderly family members who are sheltering in place due to Covid concerns.

This thing does it all. You can even watch movies on it. It is also a camera. Use it to communicate thru your mobile device. I love it. I use it alot for my Amazon music. It's the best.

I love this purchase. I keep mine in the kitchen and it plays pretty loud music while I’m cooking or cleaning. Love that I can put all my pictures on it

This echo is awesome it looks and works great… my wife loves it because I have Alexa photos streaming and it always displaying recipes to try and keeps us updated on daily news.
