The Echo Show 8 is a very versatile addition to your house. You can virtually request or tell the Show to play music or answer a question and have a versatile 8 inch screen of changing information and colorful pictures. Create to do lists and video talk with family and friends etc etc.

This was delivered within 2 days of ordering. I purchased one for my daughter in black for an amazing bundle price. I love that my picture gallery is displayed on the home screen. The sound is great and I love the hands free video calling. Easy set up! Echo show does not disappoint!

I have the 5" Echo Show and love it so much that I have purchased 2 in the past for my daughter and daughter-in-law and now have purchased 2 more for my granddaughters and one for a grandson. I got them all the 8". I love installing my pictures on mine and being able to look over as the pics rotate through. I enjoy asking for a recipe or picking out music that I want to listen to. We have Sirius XM radio so I stream that through our Show. Mine told me today that I had a package on the from porch just delivered. Checking the weather is nice too. There are so many things it can do that I don't even take advantage of or know about. I really have enjoyed mine so wanted to share it with my family.

I absolutely love the sound on this device. It sounds as good as Bose speakers and more. My favorite part is the sound it makes and the screen is a bonus for getting ready, cooking, and much more.

It is so difficult to properlyrate a product where I likely use fewer than 50% of its features, but everything we've used has been great. We bought this when it went on sale even though we already had the Echo Show 5. It was unclear if a larger image would benefit a family member with severe vision disabilities (who prefers watching movies on her smart phone). Connection was straightforward and simple. Integration with the Ring cameras was easy, although I did have to set it up to get it to automatically show the video when the doorbell is rung. All in all exactly as expected and the picture was great for a video with family in another part of the country over the holidays.

I have both the Alexa echo and this one. I love the screen because it connects to my ring doorbell and automatically plays a video when someone is outside. It’s compatible with literally everything lights, doorbell, tv, garage, etc

I love this! I keep in kitchen to listen to music, get the weather in the morning, find a quick recipe for dinner, help everyone put things on a shopping list and even to not scream upstairs to the kids- just announce dinner is ready on this instead!

Havent had it too long but finally getting the hang of how it works based on my needs. Love it for my Geenie Smart Bulbs. I finally have them all on timers which makes life much easier when i leave town and my kittie are home alone. Also use the reminders a lot... bye bye sticky notes. Overall great product. I would suggest getting the stand for it bc if you drop-in on it, all you see is the ceiling fans. Bought one for my mom, and also the Echo Show 5, and a couple Echo dots. Would recommend for purchase. The screen is really big and there is a lot of unused space vs the Echo show 5... might like the Echo show 5 better solo on that reason.

I have been wanting the Amazon - Echo Show for a while now. I was weary at first, but so glad I went with the 8" smart display with alexa. It is the perfect size for me. Easy to use and easy to read display. Very happy with this product.

Purchased this product for our bedside table. It's been great, significant upgrade from the smaller version. Sound quality is great, love the option for watching content on Amazon Video. Will definitely be purchasing a few more for other rooms in the house.

Love this little guy, awesome sound for its size, really easy to use and sleek enough to not over crowd your counter. I have mine in my kitchen and love it. Would be nice if YouTube would work without having to backdoor, but still awesome.

I got this because I wanted the larger alexa. Great sound quality and has a very nice sounding speaker with supprising bass. Some songs will actually vibrate the entire device around on the table.

Really awesome little addition to our home. Kids love asking it random questions, and I like having music at my finger tips. Kids have even used it as a second TV for various streaming platforms.

This was the model I wanted (5" is too small, 10" is way too expensive, 8" is just right), but I found it very difficult to find in the store. There were a ton of 5" and 10" available. Perhaps because this is an older model. It does a great job. The speaker quality is quite good, surprisingly so. The screen might me a little small for watching videos from a distance greater than 5 feet, but you'll have fantastic audio. It's great for music (as are all Echo devices). In terms of Alexa functionality, when you suddenly have a screen to supplement Alexa's responses, it's neat what can be shown. Kitchen timers are a true boon here. Finding recipes and then displaying them continuously while cooking is a very nice touch. I would definitely recommend this unit.

Awesome device with perfect screen side. It got everything you wanted music box, picture frame, watch YouTube, video call, clock, recipe book, etc.... All this for a faction of price of compatible Apple device.

I use this in my kitchen on the bar. I display pictures, listen to music, watch movies, get recipes and ask Alexa questions without having to touch the screen.

I like that it can show you data pf your requests on screen. Sound is also really good for the size. Another positive thing is that you have the option to cover the front camera.

Has large display compared to Show 5" and quite faster too, we use it as a picture frame as it can pull images from Amazon Photos automatically and keep rotating it along with latest news/headlines, tips etc., Since ours is a smart home, was able to perform a lot of automation by integrating IOT devices using Alexa Routines. By far its the best platform that offers a ton of compatibility with a variety of IOT devices and the best integration options using Alexa app to make them all work together. Once Show 8 is setup on the WIFI network, it automatically detects new IOT devices (other day I added a new Blink Camera) and Alexa automatically announced that it detected it, so that makes it quite cool. Overall a happy customer.

Didn't know I needed it until I bought it. And yes, you buy one, you start to really ask yourself why Google even tries at AI. I had both the Lenovo Smart Display and this. It took perhaps 15 minutes and I regretted the Google environment. The sound quality is surprisingly good. All I really need. The size is perfect. As far as privacy goes: yup, you can lock the mic AND the camera with a physical button. the camera has a plastic block like other displays. The mic is just a physical button, far enough from the volume controls that you can feel in the dark which is which.
