The bigger screen on the Echo Show 8” makes a big difference vs. the Echo Show 5”. They both work great, but this version is much easier to see from across the room.

Bought 2 of these to work in conjunction with Ring doorbells in a senior citizen's house. Setup was simple and the sound quality is excellent and better than expected.

This is my 2nd one. My 1st is the smaller one but both are great. I love the bigger screen as I have it sitting on the end table next to me and I use it often. Thanks

The Echo Show 8 is my first ever Amazon Echo device and I couldn't pick a better choice. I needed a command center hub for all my smart gadgets such as turning on and off my light bulbs and my smart speaker. The Echo Show 8 does the job for me but more. I used this as a photo display gadget in my kitchen and I couldn't be happier. I also used this to watch Prime Videos while cooking or prepping food. My only gripe with this is the integration of Youtube, I watched a lot of youtube videos on a regular basis, and Echo Show 8 doesn't have a true integrated Youtube APP. It's mainly an internet browser version of Youtube. It works but requires effort of pressing the screen multiple times to get to the video you wanted. I'm hoping in the future Amazon can update us with a true Youtube app as well as Netflix, and other streaming apps.

Love this toy in the kitchen, great for working with recipes and access to my music. Sounds remarkably good for such a little device. Pity about the silly price for the pedestal.

This is my first Alexa device and it is very easy to use. I can control most of my smart devices with it - Ring security system, Samsung smart TV. Super cool and useful.

We purchased (3) of these and they have all worked well without any problems. Installation was straightforward. Sound and display qualities are excellent, Highly recommend.

Love this device. Its easy to connect and use. It connected easily to my ring doorbell, when the ring goes off it automatically shows me who is at the front door.

I love my Echo show. I use it to listen my favorite music while cooking. I'ts great for finding new receipes.

Dad loves it! Thats all that matters. Video calls to my parents. Visual music playing all the time and my mother loves the recipes. Sound is great in this lil package.

I bought this because of the larger screen so I can keep in touch with my grandchildren and can view who may be at my front door with my Ring doorbell

Love the screen size. Had the older one and the screen was a tad too small. Saw the larger version in store and seemed too big. This screen size was just right.

Great Product. It perfect in my bedroom and interacts with all my Alexa devices of course. If you don't want the big echo show this is still the perfect size.

Had no problems with it so far. I use it to control my smart devices such as lights around the house. Screen size is just what I expected. I love Alexa

Great features. Bought one for father in law to use with grand kids for video calling during covid. Good resolution on video calling and has many great features.

I love my Alexa especially since I can speak commands and Alexa responds. Also like that I can load pictures that can be viewed as a slide show.

Love the larger screen already had the 5...use it a lot to talk to out of state special friend so I can feel more like we are together even though 500 miles away

I went from Echo Dot to Echo Show 8. I like the bigger screen and it makes viewing my Ring doorbell video better (because of the larger screen)

Love these alexa devices! Nice for looking up recipes,or making video calls with family,who also have echo shows! You now can watch Netflix on the echo shows!

Lots more fun and more interesting than the dot. Very nice looking and being able to see so many things on the screen in color makes it very informative.
