I love this screen! I can listen to music, set up my alarm to turn on my lights and I can even control my tv with it!

Got this to video chat with my Mother! She can easily answer calls, talk to anyone on her list and see them too! LOVE!

This is much better than my smaller echo device. The display is crisp and vibrant. Great for helping me cook great meals for my family. I keep it in my kitchen.

I added an Echo to my kitchen and it has been extremely useful. I use it for recipes, cooking tips, measurement conversions, grocery lists, music and etc.

I put this in my shed and use it to see my front door ring. I also use it for music while working in the shed or as a speaker to play off my phone.

High quality picture and surprisingly good audio, even for music. Great augment to Ring doorbell to easily and quickly view who is at the door.

Got an echo 5 to use for an alarm clock in the bedroom. Decided to go with the large echo 8 for the kitchen. Great for recipes and playing music while cooking.

We got hooked on the smaller Echo Shows and got this for my wife. She loves it. The Drop-In feature, Amazon picture background and sound quality is fantastic.

Nice size and good graphics. Works well as all the Echo products. I had this item shipped and it arrived very quick. Overall quality is good.

I love my Echo Show. Bought two of them so my daughter could video chat with her grandmother. Easy to use and responsive to voice commands.

While there is nothing wrong with the show 8, most of its functionality can be done with the cheaper show 5. Unless you are planning on doing something that the show 8 does better than the show 5 (music, video calls) then get the show 5.

Crystal clear display. More customizable than the Google Home. Works great at picking up our voice from different rooms.

There are several things that I don't like about this Echo Show 8. First, the camera takes awhile to focus when making video calls. Second, the microphone is on the top of the device. Depends where I set the Echo show, it does seem to have some problems hearing my voice commands. Also, some of the features like drop in and video calls do not always work while I am away from home. While this device work just like the Fire HD tables, it is not portable. While the Alexa app is not perfect and seems like it's still in the infant stage. The good things about this device is the sound and the 8" HD display.
