Love it! Use it in kitchen to bring up recipes as well as an assistant for smart plugs and thermostats.

This Amazon device is perfect for communicating while maintaining social distancing. I purchased for my 94 year old Mother so my siblings across the country can "drop in" on her without her having to do anything but say hi. Display is a step up from previous models.

Purchased as a gift for my mom. She loves it. Will look into getting the next 10 when it is released.

pairs with my ring doorbell and camera, can ask Alexa to show me front door or dog door well I'm in the living room. just what I wanted along with all the other features Alexa offers.

Lots of pros to this echo: - nice loud speakers - the screen is obviously a plus - pretty much any echo, but with a screen The display is pretty pixelated when you look up close and you run you tube. You also can’t tell your echo to play a specific video on you tube (you need to actually click the video you want). Regardless, I would buy this device again.

Very good sound & graphics. Easily connects & operates off my network of other Amazon Echo devices. Easy to put your photo library onto a background slide show. Recognizes most commands the first time. I love that it lists the words to songs I choose.

love this! we purchased the ring camera and chime and then purchased this and its perfect! My parents are not tech savvy and this helps them so much--they can see their ring camera so well on the echo show!

I have several Alexa Echo devises (4). I have also purchased several others (3) for my nieces. I, and they, love having an assistant (voice), lol. Also, I purchased the first Alexa tower the 1st week it came out it 2014 and, it is still going strong.

We put this in our kitchen as a central system for recipes and music. We love having a built-in photo frame and everyone uses the recipes feature. It also works with our Ring system.

I like it. The Echo 5' was too small for me to read the screen from a distance but the 8' is perfect.

Easy enough to set up, a few hiccups getting it to hook up to Ring doorbell , but overall good to go.

It may be too soon to review, but so far we're very happy with it. Only using it with our BLINK camera system, and it's great with that. Will we eventually expand its use? Probably somewhere down the road. Still getting a feel for it.

This is an ingenious bit of technology and it's potential far exceeds my grasp at this time, so for the somewhat technologically uniformed patience and tutoring are required. It also appears that there are many applications that require a fee, i.e. access to the extensive music library, but with time I suspect I'll appreciate its capabilities more fully.

Good Smart Display but not much of an upgrade from last years model but a much better price on sale.

This device is great. It lets you connect with friends and family. I love it.

I have the 10 inch for the kitchen and I had the 5 inch for my nightstand but I always felt the 10 inch was way too big for it. So when the 8 inch came out, it was the perfect size. Highly recommend it, use alexa all the time to turn off my lights at night.

Bought it to communicate with my elderly mom who isn’t technical person. Drop in feature is a brilliant idea since anyone can check on other linked person. Use it everyday check and communicate with mom. Alex feature are awesome too.

I bought a couple of these as they were on sale at the time. My house is full of Google Home speakers and screens, but Alexa does some things better. I set this speaker up in my office. I added Skype too. I ended up getting a call from a relative and it was superb.

Great product lacks a few features for music and entertainment but overall does the job
