I purchased this item to assist in the care of my elderly mom. I am able to use this technology to make phone video phone calls, alarm clock and intercom. Things have worked out well to this point. As she is able to hear the alarm and talk to her family.

Great device. A little big but still good. Great display; wish it had an internal battery that kept it on when you plug out temporarily

This is our second Echo Show--joining several other Echo and Alexa-enabled devices. We use this one in our kitchen. Resolution is great and has great sound for its size. Setup is easy.

Works great with my blink cameras. Also great for playing music or pulling up recipes while cooking

The Amazon - Echo Show 8 was a large enough display to be comfortable for my mother, as well as easy enough to use for her purposes and capabilities.

I love this little device I bought the larger one as well and use the echo dot and it’s amazing how you can have music in every room definitely would recommend it.

I switched out my echo 3rd gen with the new echo show 8” in my kitchen and it has been great. I mainly use my echo show to look up recipe ideas or see who is at my door while I’m cooking. I like listening to music and what I like about the echo show is that you can sing along because you can see the lyrics.

I got the 8 for my kitchen. Great size. Not too big not too small. Able to see who's at the front door when my Ring doorbell goes off. Very happy with my purchase.

Amazing quality. I got it for my mom on her birthday and she absolutely loved it. My whole family uses it all the time and i’m very glad i bought it!

The echo 8 is large enough for me and I like the fact that I can move it to any room. I also enjoy video calling on it.

Use this as the main Alexa in the house. Works great! Use it for lights, security cameras, calls, and everything else that Alexa can do.

I really do love the echo show 8. The speakers are perfect, it actually gets quite loud, I barely ever have it on full blast. I love being able to watch lyrics as my songs play. I love being able to link to my sisters echo and video call her. I love being able to play nursery rhyme videos for my son. And control all of my Alexa items. What I don’t love it how glitchy it can be. Sometimes it’ll just play two videos at once. Sometimes it will respond to my command just fine and others it won’t. The command process is a bit frustrating as well. I’d like to just say play The ID channel on Hulu live and have that just happen, but it’s more complicated than that. I can eventually get it to play, it’s just not as easy as all that. All in all life would be quite different without my Alexa devices. So I appreciate them for what they can do.

The display is a great buy! The ease of voice command with Alexa is increadibly easy. It was especially helpful during the holidays with controling of decorative lighting, calls to friends we couldn't see due ot COVID restrictions, and playing music. As usual, Alexa was great for finding information.

I love this device! It’s the perfect kitchen assistant! I set myself reminders, drop-in while my family is in the kitchen, and make announcements throughout the house! It’s AWESOME!

I love it! The sounds quality is great, and I love the screen size. I had the show five and I thought it was a little small, but the show 8 was a perfect size.

Very pleased. I have customized it so much, makes me speechless. I also have one of those nifty little plugs, so I plug in my tree to it, and say "Alexia, Merry Christmas", and the tree comes on and the Echo Show plays "Rockin Around the Christmas Tree". I also have a Roku, and I can tell it to turn on, and it turns on the TV and starts playing. I can turn on lights, including the close detached garage lights. I've got more to try, but just after a few weeks, I'm impressed.

I love this thing you play so many tunes and games. This was encouraged by my grands and great grand s. Im about to buy another for a mother in my life.

Got this as a gift for Father's Day for my Father-In-Law (65). Easy set up, GREAT sound quality, large screen for visibility. He loves it and can't imagine being without!
