However, there are an equal number of features that are not great. I do like the idea of hands free calling, especially for my elderly mother. However, if you do not have a smart phone, it is impossible to download the Alexa app to get the most out of your device.

Can’t keep security/door cam on, and it takes time to get them to show. Whirlpool app doesn’t work with microwave and partially works with oven of built in combo. No way am I trusting driverless cars when such simple things are so poorly implemented.

However if you purchase a Show for your elderly parent, know this! You must have a smart phone to access all the features that Show provides. My elder still has a flip phone. She will not use a smart phone so if you are thinking of buying one to have video calling with grandchildren this is not the system for you.
