I've been against installing a device that has listening ability for some time. I decided to move forward based on the flexibility of this system to use in the kitchen for music, recipes, quick info, and even call capability. All of those functions work very well. The speaker is surprisingly good for the size and cost. I did get it on sale though.

I have had my Echo Show for little over a month. I have been more than pleased. The sound is great and it has excellent picture quality. I continue to learn new things I can have Alexa do. I can make phone calls, automate my home, play music, set up routines, do lists, set timers and alarms, and that is just scratching the surface. I highly recommend this product without reservation.

Great price and product. 10 inch better sound but 8 inch does what you need

This is louder than the 5. I can see my blink cameras very good on the screen.

Mom wanted one for Christmas. She has poor vision and I was worried about her being able to read it but she has no problems. Her biggest problem, is more of a “character flaw”. She expects Alexa to know her 100% straight out the box. She (pretends) doesn’t understand Alexa Skills and I have to add them for her but the speakers sound amazing and can be heard pretty much all over her 3000sq ft home if desired.

This was recommended to me by my son in addition to the echo dot that I already have. This is an amazing item is so interesting & the various uses. I decided to purchase another one for my bedroom. The level of knowledge Of technology is minimum And you can use this for many things to incorporate within your household or office.

Awesome! We purchased 3 of these for our family. 1 for my wife’s parents so we can video chat with them and ‘drop in’ if we ever have any concerns about their safety or well-being. We use the other two around our house for all the other functionality. They were a great upgrade from our Echo dots.

This is the second Echo show 8 that we have purchased. The first was for ourselves. There’s so much that it does. My wife enjoys getting recipes from it and I like listening to music. But we have barely touched the surface of what it does. We purchased the second one to give as a gift. The 8 is the perfect size for us. Catch it on sale and you won’t be disappointed.

Purchased this device for my elderly Mom as a video chat device that doesn’t require her to push any buttons to accept a video call and works great. Makes an audible alert when I drop in for a video chat. Also have it set for photo display during the day and to have the display turn on/off every day at set times. There are are also many other features.
