It does all that Alexa is supposed to do and yet it looks good on my night stand. I bought the blue one and I really like the color. I own several of the original dots so when I seen this echo spot I said why not.

The spot is really great on sound quality as well, & the dim screen at night is a total plus!!

I ask Alexa to set my alarm along with my Spotify. It's better than any old alarm clock.

Works fine but can get confused when trying to turn on or off specific lights only and will sometimes turn everything off instead. But it’s cool and usually works fine. Can ask for the weather or temperature inside. The more Alexa compatible devices you have the better the experience, in my opinion.

I use this for my bedroom clock and alarm. If you talk soft to it, it will respond in a soft voice. Took a few minutes to get the programming down, but I love it.
