I upgraded from an Echo Dot 1st generation. The sound is much improved overall, but almost a bit too much base? There's plenty of volume for sure and it beats the Dot for room filling sound. I think the cloth covering, while it looks attractive, will be a dust collector after a while compared to my Dot which is easy to clean plastic:) The Alexa app works pretty well and seems to pick up my voice even if the music is loud. I wish the light ring was a bit more visible as it is on the Dot, but it works. My go to music is either Sirius XM, or the Amazon music, with Amazon being better since you can choose your artist, or a lot of other content that's available. The disadvantage is the extra monthly fees. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. It was on sale plus I had bonus Best Buy Cert's to lower the price even more.

The Echo Studio has a fantastic sound depth. The bass was great, the highs hit their notes crisply and precisely. I loved how it filled the room with sound. But...I struggled to get it connected to other devices. The interface was less than easy. I wanted to be able to play music from my phone yet it seemed to struggle with that setup. I had to get a separate app and go through a variety of steps to get it to cooperate. I'm a bit of a tech power user so I have many other Bluetooth speakers I use on a regular basis. All of them...yes ALL of them pair smoothly and have one-click-to-play ability, even the cheap ones. I ultimately returned the unit in favor of the Ultimate Ears HyperBoom. Wow...what a difference. Click to play will win with me every time.

Absolutely love my Echo Studio so much that I purchased a second one. Great sound quality, easy set up. I love the look and feel. Amazon and Best Buy can do no wrong in my eyes. Both will always be my first go-to. I highly recommend!!

This speaker has fantastic sound and was easy to set-up. I got same day shipping on a Saturday via BestBuy and was so pleased to have it in time for my Memorial Day party!

Great speaker, allows for smart devices to be connected and controlled through voice capabilities. There are some hold backs like Alexa won't recognize that one device can have multiple actions (ex: smart ceiling fan; turning on the light vs turning on the fan). Anytime you ask her to turn on the fan, she activates the fan on the ecobee thermostat for the air conditioning.

I knew I was pretty much buying more than I needed when I purchased this item but I like the idea of having so much versatility as my smart home needs grow. Sound quality is excellent and it really does do everything as advertised. It's also so much easier than setting my alarm clock when I simply tell it to wake me up at a certain time and even with a certain song. I highly recommend this model to anyone who's in the market for this kind of smart device.

This little speaker is pretty amazing. Now it's not audiophile grade but nonetheless produces room-filling sound that seems very accurate. I have it paired with a few other speakers so we have music throughout the ground floor. Love it! I'd like to eventually get another Studio and put it across the same room as the original for great stereo. Highly recommend, just remember this is $249 not $849 so don't expect that level of sound quality. However still very good for the price and most people will love it.

Amazing product with good collection in store store

We love this speaker, the sound is amazing, using it with our firetv cube 3rd gen. Why 4 stars and not 5? Well, we have two things we don't like, 1- Sometimes we have to change apps and go back in order to get the sound to actually play, not sure if that is the speaker or the firetv cube. 2- After watching something and trying to ask Alexa a question, the volume never stays and then its too low, not sure why it won't just stay where we put it. Other than that, everything else is perfect, we are enjoying the sound quality.

Good speaker with nice balance of mids and bass but doesn’t fill the room as advertised. This would benefit from a sub and a couple smaller speakers. Also this model in particular seems to have microphone issues as it can almost never hear our voice command correctly. Overall, you can very like find a much nicer smart speaker for the same or less money. Would not buy again.

No sound expert here. Sound is okay towards plain good with Amazon Unlimited Music for one device. It meets my needs of being able to listen to most any song basically with Amazon Unlimited Music at per month cost. Looks good. i paid full price and I am happy.

Awesome speaker. Alexa makes this speaker perfect for night time music while we sleep! I snore, the wife hates it. Now she can say Alexa, Zen Music on Pandora, volume 3 and voila! Rest easy....... Great sound, regular music is good and loud but in regards to sleeping,(what we use it for) the thunderstorms amd soundscapes are immersive as it gets. The calibration tool makes this speaker perfect sounding in any room amd it air adjusts if you move it around. Great design and very affordable.

4 months of use and glad I upgraded to the studio. Bigger sound to fill a room versus a few echo dots. The quality of the sound with solid bass and high are pleasing and not overpowering. I use the whole house broadcasting so i have several speakers going at once.

Great sound. Would I say “better sound than a HomePod or similar Sonos units?” No, I would not. And when comparing “deluxe” smart assistant speakers, that’s really the only way to rate them. It does it’s job and it does it well, it just pales in comparison to its main competitors. It does have the benefit of being a part of a huge ecosystem full of options. The Atmos speaker is nice, but not noticeable pretty much ever. It is a better price (when the HomePod is not on sale) and, for that alone, I will give it some credit. The only speakers that compare to the HomePod are from Sonos; but at a much richer price. The sounds from this speaker do sound better than a typical Echo; but somehow lack that crispness and smoothness that you’ll find in its competitors.

definitely am not a techie person. The initially set up with calibrating the unit, was a total breeze. I decided to move the unit to my bedroom and trying to figure out how to recalibrate was difficult, as there were no inclosed instructions on how to do this, which is why I’m giving it only 3 stars. However, after going to YouTube for instructions, it was easy to do— again, I’m no techie. The sound is very good for the price but, it definitely does not compare to my Bose speakers.

I love the enhanced sound depth and quality my Echo Studio Hi-Res 330W Smart Speaker with Dolby Atmos Audio Processing Technology offers. I enjoy listening to music and it's simple to just ask Alexa to play the music I want to hear.
