Why is it that my cheap echo dots respond faster and from further away than the expensive Echo Studio and Show devices? I gave this device high marks because it sounds great and really fills the room with noticeably deeper, richer sound than all the other Echo devices I have. But I sure wish I could say "Alexa" and have the Studio respond more consistently than the Dots scattered in other rooms.

I accidently turned this on in the store and was impressed by the sound quality and bass this produces. Brought it home as a Christmas gift for the wife and we opened it early she loves it. It really sounds great and you can really crank up the volume with and this speaker can handle it.

This thing kicks butt!! The sound quality exceeded my expectations. Sounds really good out of the box but make sure you go into the Alexa app and you can adjust the sound parameters to make it sound even better. I also added the echo subwoofer $129 from Amazon and WOW!

This is an impressive speaker, especially for the price. It's a bit heavy on the bass, but otherwise it puts even the HomePod to shame. I've only been able to test it scarcely with HD audio, since I'm an Apple Music subscriber and they don't yet offer it, but HD is where this is really supposed to excel.

This Alexa device, and yea its smart, and and yea it can do all the dot things. However this thing shines when you send music to it from any source. It is deep rich bass, clean crisp highs, and a blend of middle that brings it all together. The quality of this fills not only a room but an entire floor.

The Echo Studio is a gift. I listened to it I'm the store and was impressed with the HiFi quality. I hope it can be paired with the Echo Show. Together they will replace my wife's Bose clock Radio. Less space. Better sound and voice control. If it all works together it will be great.

Ok I have a 7.1 sound system they cost about $2000, and it sound very close with just a pair of this. However, a real pair of surround speakers at the back does make difference, no matter whatever sound bar and the front only system claims. Setup is easy, base is amazing, sounds is rich.

If you are looking at this and you are asking yourself why pay the extra. I can tell you this is the best Alexa speaker I have had and I have had all the versions from Amazon, as well as several others. The sound is incredible. Spend the extra, you will not be sorry.

Absolutely love the sound quality this thing puts out. Paired it with a second Echo Studio (which took a second to figure out in the app, but ended up being very easy) for a more immersive sound experience, and man, did it deliver. Highly recommend!

Works so perfectly without any glitch. Alexa responds fast when called. I love it.

I bought 2 of these to use in a stereo pair, and so far so good. These are used for casual ( not critical listening). They are situated on a half wall that separates my living room from my kitchen. They don’t sound as full as they would, if I were to have them in a smaller room.

Have a JBL xtreme 3 and a harman kardon onyx studio 8 compared to both of those the echo studio sounds way better in BASS and sound quality only problem its not portable

Amazing sound quality for a compact product. Easy to set up and link to my home wifi system. Very sleek looking and fit into my home decor nicely.

The base is wonderful and it’s simply a much better version of the original unit we had. And, I was grateful for the tech-support I received at Best Buy when buying it.

I was looking for a bedroom smart speaker that had decent sound. It was this and the apple home pod. We chose this because of the package deal. It does support Dolby Atmos, but you need to subscribe to Amazon Music HD. Video in Dolby Atmos needs to come from Amazon Fire TV Cube.

Really great product...just tell it what you want. In addition to all of the Alexa capability built in , this thing really sounds good. It's used in a home office environment and provides a quality room -filling experience.Replaced an Echo Plus which I moved to the garage.

This is a great smart speaker! For the size, it give you great sound with good bass. And if you want more bass, they make an optional sub for it. It very easy to setup too. If you already have some other Alexa products- it really gets cool when you start linking them together.

Nice and loud speaker - sound can be heard all over the house when the volume is turned up. The small subwoofer does add a little bass. works great for the smart home controls and with the Amazon/Alexa app. Still can't get the AI to change the name from Alexa to Servant

I love this thing. It’s a really good speaker with better bass than my homepods. Homepods have better overall sound quality but this is better if you are comparing them at full price. When homepods sell for $200, I’d go apple.
