This is my second echo studio and I'm using them as TV speakers in my bedroom. For movie watching they're just fine but I'm not a blockbuster type so not too worried about sound effects etc. The whole pairing system with Amazon's universe is far from perfect and requires unpairing and repairing every few days... That's really my only complaint otherwise they're fine.

Amazing speaker. I have other echo products but this is the first to produce high quality sound. The bass response is awesome and accurate. Not cheap but well worth the price. I highly recommend this speaker.

Id never expext quality audio from a voice assistant, but I paired this unit with the 100w optional amazon subwoofer and amazed! High quality audio that you can feel.

It's a high quality speaker and one of the cheapest ways to get Dolby Atmos if you have a Fire Cube or Fire Stick 4K. The sound is great and if you pair two of them with the Echo Sub you will have an immersive home theater experience.

Impressive little speaker. Once you setup then you can go into App to adjust bass, etc. Very impressed with the sound quality at this price. I would put this up against speakers that cost twice as much. Definitely a great value.

Not as good sounding as my Sonos Olay 5 that I sold, but it’s soooooo much more reliable. It does not need to be re-setup after a power flicker like my Sonos did periodically which was annoying. I bought two of these planning to make a stereo setup, but the second one is still in the box as this meets my needs…for now.

Wow, amazing sound clarity & quality. No distortions at high or low volumes. I’m planning on buying another for outdoor music. It’s a bit on the heavy side but you won’t care with the excellent quality you’re getting!

Instant Dolby Atmos home theater when you pair 2 with a fire tv cube! Sound is great and quite spatial in the right room. Work best in a small to medium sized room

This is the best sound overall Echo Speaker that Amazon sells. Have two as a stereo set and does not disappoint for it's size and performance. Getting them onsale is a no brainer as it is a tough speaker to beat at that price point.

Purchased for my wifes rather large office. She loves it. Replaces an older Bose system that required an ipod to feed music - the ipod broke. The Echo studion is a much better sytem.

As an Alexa digital assistant, it works great. As a smart speaker, I would say it's average at best. Music quality is good, provided you are using a premium music service, like Tidal, Deezer, or Amazon Music Unlimited. It plays "lossless audio" encoded with Dolby Atmos, Spatial R360, Ultra HD using FLAC codec. Sound controls, on the other hand, are a nightmare. Unless you want to get up to use the physical volume buttons, you will need to use the Alexa app for volume and sound controls, which are buried deep under device settings. Important: if using an Android phone, you will NOT get lossless audio if you cast directly from the Amazon Music app. You must either connect via Bluetooth 5.0, or stream directly using voice commands. I don't use it to watch TV, but I can't imagine it would be as good as a similarly priced soundbar or true 7.1 A/V system.

Love my Echo Studio. So easy to have it play a playlist from spotify or play a particular album. I have it connected with my iMac and can either make the selection from my spotify app or directly by speaking to Alexa.

The sound it great. HomePod and the studio are different sounds, but I definitely love our studio. I have two of them. It could use a little more polish on the fit and finish side, but for $199 the sound and versatility of it, I’ll take it!

I like it a lot. It is fun. I can’t believe I waited so long and suffered with the regular smart speaker. I just used it for something to talk to. But now I have 3D sound and it’s like I having a live conversation.

Great speaker system and as a bonus it has Alexa. Sounds awesome for playing music ad fills the room with sound. Big improvement over the other Echo speakers though they are not terrible!

Super clear sound and good potency, went for silver and found gold

I was very surprised by the sound quality of this fairly small unit. Bass, Midrange and Treble controls are located in the Alexa app to tweak the sound to your liking. This is an amazing speaker for the price. Big win for Amazon.
