I’ve had this for a while now. The quality is night and day compared to the standard Echo. The volume and clearing is considerably better. Eventually I’ll get a second unit and sync as a true stereo.

I love this speaker. It is very loud and has good base!

The sound is pretty good for a single unit speaker and a good buy at this price BUT the sound of a good 2.1 system system beats it. I have a Logitech Z623 2.1 Speaker System hooked up to an Echo Dot and it sound much better at a cheaper price (but larger footprint with it's own separate subwoofer.

If you need something to play music, hand down this great. Its loud but crisp and has great bass. However, I bought this as a home theate.... In that regard it sucks and was a waste of money. It only works best with Fire TV, and fire tv is not as good a Roku. I should have bought Roku speakers for the TV.

Excellent smart speaker by itself but I added a second one pared them with the sub and it sounds fantastic! The music comes alive and sounds like I am at a concert! Love my echo studios!

Packs a lot of music into a fairly small space plus you get all the benefits of Alexa. Apple Home Pod sounds better but is twice the price. Got it on sale for $50 off so I was happy.

Easy to set up, and the sound is outstanding for such a small device. I'm so glad that I bought this device instead of the smaller one. It does so much that it's hard to believe.

I needed a speaker solution after moving from a home with built-in speakers throughout the home. This speaker provides great sound in the every large room where it is used. I have not done a head-to-head comparison with a similar Bose or Sonos speaker, but overall, I am happy with the product.

Bought two echo studios, using them on the patio for hands free pool music, they do the job great, much better sound than any other echo I've heard, plan on adding the sub if they come back.
