Average at most. If it wasnt for using it as an alarm device and to set reminders, I would return it. Max volume is good for 1 room only. I dont like the fact when it is connected to my tv, you have to turn the sound way up but then when an alarm goes off, its way too loud. I have looked and looked for a resolution. My sons smaller speaker is just as good and half the price.

for the price with the music subscription that is for it this thing is rockn with playing grouped with echo show 8 and 5 along with the dot .this has my whole apartment rocking.

This echo studio is great the sound it great and yes it gets loud and still sounds good i really recommend this to all. It does alittle bit of everything.

This is a great Echo. This has great high/low tones. If you're a fan of the Amazon Echos I would recommend this one, you're not going to have the same sounds as a Bose speaker. If you don't have the same expectations as a Bose speaker you'll be great getting this speaker.

With good source content and a higher volume it's a pretty great compact speaker, and it has a line/optical input if you want to use it, but as an addition to my existing 3rd gen Echos (non plus) it doesn't really "rock my world" it's just good. Spatial audio is cool but limited.

I really like the Echo Studio. Set up was was easy. Sounds great alone but even better when paired with the echo sub. Very pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend.

The sound is great. The bass is great as well. The volume covers a good distance. We use in the basement and it’s very loud.

I bought this to replace my clumsy wired speaker system. It sounds good, not audiophile, but good enough. It's small, unobtrusive and does all the Alexa functions. I like it.

I got an employee gift for 25 years of service. I chose an Amazon Fire TV. I decided to get this speaker to use it as an audio source for the tv. Two of the worst mistakes I have ever made and note I’m stuck with them both. The speaker, when it decides to stay connected to this lousy tv, sounds great. It’s pretty equal to the large HomePod I have. But the key words are, if it stays connected. I can be watching a show and all of a sudden the sound is gone. I can usually wake about 15 minutes before the thing reconnects. I have tried troubleshooting it but with no luck. And yes, it’s very close to my WiFi so the distance is not an issue. Again. The worst use of $200.

Alexa is great, so great to wake up to music that I don't even have to choose, so great to get weather and other fun information. Can't wait to buy some lights to control.

Overall it is really a great purchase sounds amazing. Just be sure it close enough to the router to avoid issues especially if you are syncing more than one speaker.
