At $200 I didn’t expect it to replace my Bose or Klipsch, but I did expect a solid sounding speaker. Sound is too mushy.

I own many Amazon Alexa products, and thought this would be the best of all - not so. First the sound was comp, etc,y disappointing. Sounded nothing like it did in the store, and it had real connection difficulties. I like my Show 8 better and all the other Echo devices I own. Had to return it as not for me.

Hooked this up to my TV via the optical port and it was glichy right away. It worked for a few hours and I went to bed, second day it no longer worked. I bought a second Amazon Echo Studio from Best Buy around the same time and used it instead, it works perfectly. Not a happy customer.

Worked at first and now it’s just a dud. Bought August 5th and now it’s dead. Tried two different outlets and there’s no power. Tried looking on Amazon’s support page for the studio but all it tells you how to do is reset it. $235 down the drain. I’m really upset.

This Alexa is hard of hearing. Stick to the dot or echo, this one has too many bugs and doesn’t work right. The sound quality is good but the Alexa feature sucks. I’m going to be sending this back for warranty for a hearing check.

This speaker was a dissapointment, did not match up with any other bluetooth speaker, sound quality is not near price point at all and another alexa in the house is just annoying.

First it sounds great! Unfortunately, like all Echo devices it can work for a bit then one day you will try to access a skill or play a song and it answers in the affirmative and then......nothing. Crickets. Usually with an Echo or a Dot unplugging, waiting a couple minutes, and then powering up will fix this common occurrence. Not so on the Studio. For me given the price, that is a deal killer. $150 is too much to pay for a device that needs support and then needs to be re-setup.

If you are looking for a affordable speaker that can handle Dolby Atmos this is the option, it offers a rich experience when you try to enjoy your movies, it offers a rich bass when you combine it with the Amazon sub. My only complaint its that the speaker has connectivity problems so eventually I have to reboot the router to keep using it without any drop
