We love using this product around the house we are constantly listening to music and whatever we feel like listening to we play and listen to immediately we really enjoying the Amazon echo and have recommended it to all members of our family and friends who do not currently have it.

It is easy to set up and start using. The Amazon Echo has an incredible wealth of programs at your disposal. But there are limitations. Once you understand the limitations, you can enjoy a world of music and entertainment at your fingertips. Just realize that it does not have access to every song by every singer. And understand that you have to work with Alexa's interpretation of your accent and pronunciations. Enjoy.

I am still learning how to use Echo. I often don't get answers to my questions but I think it's because I am not phrasing them correctly. I am not an Amazon Prime member and that limits what I can do on Echo. Amazon Prime members can place orders on Echo, as well as stream music through Amazon and listen to books. It got terrific reviews so I will continue to experiment with it and hopefully I will learn to love it.

The Amazon Echo provides both a way to coordinate household appliances but also answers to b all your questions. Easy to use, maximum effectiveness. I discover new uses for my Echo every day. Coordinates tasks with my cellphone and allows for programming contingencies (if this, then that). I love it.

I was torn on getting one of these, but absolutely love it and find myself using it all the time!

My wife purchased this for my birthday and we find it to be VERY helpful. Very easy to use. Perfect size to be placed conspicuously in the home. It's an all-around great tool for parties, up-to-date info every morning, list keeping, calendar maintenance and general fact checking. We love it!

The Echo has become a convenient tool that enhances several areas of my life, from controlling lights to managing shopping lists. It is a convenient timer, source of listening to music in the background and for adjusting lights and other devices remotely. I really like it.

I've had my Echo for a few months. Set up was easy. The voice recognition has been excellent. Alexa hears and responds to all of my requests, as well as the TV occasionally! I love its capability to connect to other speakers via BLUETOOTH. And it is a lot of fun for the family and parties!

I bought this to help my 88 year old mother, along with a dot. It is amazingly,easy to use, voice activated, and multi functional. It provides extra safety and daily we find more tricks to enable with it. Unlike apps you enable functions ( all free and built in). A must have for seniors!

I do not have a connected home, but the Echo is fun to use. More skills are added by Amazon each week. The accuracy of the Echo understanding my voice commands are excellent! Unfortunately, only the Dot can stream via Bluetooth. I would give the Dot a look when it begins to be generally available...

Alexa is fun! The sound is excellent & you can ask her all kinds of cool things! Great purchase!

My wife and I use our Alexa on a daily basis. I decided to buy my mom one also and she loves it.

What can I say since having the amazon Echo (Alexa) at home my family enjoys it. My kids do math questions with her and animal game, reading, history etc. And then there'sthe fun time were we ask her jokes play music ask silly question and so on. I definitely would recommend her to everyone.

Alexa is my new best friend. I was able to set up the Amazon Echo rather quickly. It was harder to unpack the device than to set it up. I love to listen to the music and play jeopardy. I can even ask Alexa to turn on my lights, you need a smart plug to do this it is an added cost but worth it.

My only regret is not purchasing Amazon Echo sooner. She keeps me up to date with weather, significant events for the day, can sing happy birthday and plays my favorite music. No more plugging in cords from phone to speakers and blah blah blah...I couldn't be more satisfied. Thank you Alexa!

Echo is great fun particularly if you have connected devices like Wemo or Lifx bulbs or Next thermostat. At first you think you may not use that much, then you find yourself telling it to turn on the lamp or turn down the thermostat, like when you are cooking and your hands are messy. I have a lot of Wemo switches and Lifx bulbs, and it's fun to group them together and tell Echo to turn on everything and watch it all turn on at once. It's also fun to ask her about actors and actresses on tv while watching, like how old is so and so person. Alexa is not perfect, but she is pretty good at getting things right most times. The bad thing is you'll find yourself wanting to buy more Wemo switches and stuff just to have fun with Echo. Note, Alexa can only control Wemo bulbs by using IFTT, but the switches it has direct integration with. Lifx bulbs have direct integration, but you can't change the colors without IFTT I think, and Nest thermostat has direct integration. Looking to the future for more direct integration of things.

Works exactly as promised and provides solid performance. Speaker could use a little more bass.
