Great for 7 year old. It keep her busy, plus it has some great apps for learning. I love the parental control. It can also be locked at a certain time to limit screen time.

Great for kids. It is super slow but about what I expected from the price and specs. Make sure you get an extra sd card for it for or kids can't download anything.

The battery life is extremely short and it takes forever to recharge. It doesn’t have a lot of storage space either which makes it’s use for car rides kind of pointless

I purchased this tablet for my daughter as a birthday gift (turned 6). It was easy to set up and she loves the tablet. It provides hours of age appropriate content through Amazon FreeTime. The tablet comes with a pretty tough protective skin (in pink or blue) that can absorb its fair share of bumps and drops. Most of all this tablet occupies my daughter enough for me to get things done while at home or when we are out and about. Its easy to disinfect and it charges pretty quickly. Occasionally I have to get my daughter to take a break because she can get pretty immersed in what she's watching or playing. Great product that is definitely engaging for your young child.

Kids love the Kindle and it is very easy for them to use. Plus the case has prevented it from breaking with clumsy little hands playing on it.

Tons of free apps available, great customization with parental controls, and very sturdy design. My younger child got a hold of it and tossed it on the floor a couple times. You can't even tell.
