Got it for my grandson! My daughter said to get it for him. At 14 months, he knows how to fool with it, and is not really talking yet! WOW!

I got this for my granbaby's and they love using it and i like how they are learning how to use it by themselves

Good tablet for my 3 year old daughter. Rough and durable with the rubber case and has a kickstand built in. Amazon OS is not as good as iOS but it’s powered by Android although a lower version, not updated to android 11. Battery power could be better and if it worked with google play store would be much better for apps.

I buy it for grandson he is just a toddler little guy. He so happy he used all the time. I’m very happy to see he learned.

My four year old loves if would buy again. Even my ten year old loves it. And the kids FreeTime is awesome I don’t have to worry about him going into inappropriate site’s.

The kids love this tablet and its very easy to use. My 3 year old uses it with no problems. We have the older version as well but we love that this one has the pull out stand on the case, allowing it to stand up on its own. The cases are great and Amazon really does stand by their 2 year worry-free warranty. The memory will fill up fast if your kids take alot of pictures and videos but you can easily and affordably add an extra memory card. These are a lifesaver on long trips, as the games still work even when not connected to wifi.

Best tablet for little ones. I don't care for Amazon tablets in general but for little ones this is the best and fairly inexpensive. I purchased this for my little one prior to a long road trip to keep her from getting bored. The Fire 7 Kids edition comes with a nice rubber bumper to protect it and the device is light enough and easy enough for little people hands to use. The apps are plentiful and the parental controls are straight forward to prevent accidental purchases. I do wish that the parental controls from Amazon Kids allowed more specific lockouts particularly to lock out certain apps that have been rated kid friendly but really offer no academic value. The battery lasts a several hours, however for long trips I recommend a backup battery or long cable to have it plugged in. There are also numerous other children programs besides Amazon kids that you can access such as khan academy, hungry caterpillar series, and ABC mouse. For any of the paid subscriptions there are no advertisements.

My 8 year old son has Autism and is prone to violent outbursts. This is the perfect tablet for him. The kids version protects the tablet while providing appropriate content that he loves. We've only had it a short time but he has launched it across the room a few times during his upsets. The foam case does a great job protecting the tablet. He used to use a big bulky iPad in a heavy protective case. He won't touch the iPad now. This is lighter and has more easily accessible kid content that he loves. My only gripes is the old style micro usb charging port. Time for Amazon to join the rest of the world with a USB C port. Battery life is less than the 8 year old iPad too but as it was 10% of the original cost of the iPad, I could by two of these and still have wayyyyy less invested than the iPad. Overall, very pleased with this purchase.

I love this tablet. I love the parental controls, apps, games, and everything. My son is absolutely in love, too. Only downside is the lack of memory available, but we plan to purchase MicroSD cards to solve that issue.
