Bought this for my 8 yr old grand daughter and she loves it. Yes I did purchase a better case for it and glad I did, as she has on;y dropped it 3 times.. Its the perfect size and teaching tablet until shes old enough to respect and truly need one. Yes, shes 8 so NO she can not go on aps I dont want her too. Mostly games and stuff like that. Like I said its the beginning to her future

These are very low price tablets and work really great for kids to watch videos and play some online games. If you keep the cost in mind and what you get for a cost it is a superb deal. You shouldn’t compare them with Quality of Apple tablets since you’re paying less than 5th of the price. Using with your Amazon prime makes it an excellent deal for watching videos on the go. I have three of those for kids and my own reading to carry along to read.

I purchased this tablet to replace my Samsung Galaxy tablet, which cost hundreds of dollars. For $49.99, the technology and ease of use simply can't be beat! It may also be adapted to download Android Apps by programming it to load the Google Play store in addition to the apps already available on Amazon. I love the Silk browser as well!

Bought this tablet on a whim and find that I really like it. The down side is that it is utterly controlled by Amazon, so if you want apps outside of Amazon, like we-mail, it will cost money. I find that a bit disingenuous. But, for playing games and reading books, it does do the job. I was able to download some weather apps and some news apps, so it is more than a one trick pony. All in all, I like it, in spite of its limitations.
