Amazing tablet with great price and features. The size is perfect as well.

The Kindle is a great option for someone who doesn’t want to lug their laptop around everywhere they go and probably, of course, someone who enjoys reading. The amount of apps and features that you can add to this tablet are great, but I personally had to jump through two many hoops just to use it as normal. This is the second Kindle Fire I’ve purchased and I don’t know what it is but would not connect to my wifi even had I tried fixing the issue with Amazon support... just like the last one I bought. It only connected to my personal hotspot, but why run up my data when I should be able to use wifi anywhere, especially in my home? I mostly bought it to read ebooks and it was a pain trying to convert the files of the books I found on the internet to be readable on the Kindle. I finally found an app that could convert the files to be compatible with the Kindle, but then the Kindle was not recognizable/showing up on my Macbook when I plugged in the Kindle’s USB to it in order to transfer the files over... Connecting wifi and reading ebooks should be the easiest things to do with this tablet. I didn’t want to bother spending more for a Nook or a newer version of the Kindle and risk running into the same problem, so I returned it. It sucks because I really liked the price point. II’ll probably save up and upgrade to one of Samsung’s tablets if not an iPad (which would pair better with my Macbook anyway).

The equipment is a nice size and very lightweight. My kids enjoy watching cartoons and movies on the device.

These are not super high quality tablets. I bought 2 for my kids and that’s because if they broke them I wouldn’t feel bad since the tablets are so cheap. They’re good starter tablets for kids, the OS is an Amazon overlay of the android OS and amazon is constantly trying to sell you things through these tablets.

I had a fire HD that died. This is not the tablet that that one was. This is a reader. It does play video with decent quality but the screen is smaller. You can shop and read news but it is slower. The big positive is it takes an SD card, is a perfect size for a reader and costs $49.95 ish. I like it. For me, the HD was a waste because I use my iPad everything but reading. This is perfect for what a purchased it for.

The Amazon Fire 7 is a really nice device, has many capabilities, and is convenient/easy to use. Since this is my first tablet device, I am learning via the trial & error process. A users manual would have been nice, and an instruction book cost way too much given the very low price for the tablet. The promotions for tablet instruction books claim you can become an expert in several hours, so I opted for the trial/error process.

Simple and easy to use. Lightweight to carry around. Easy on the eyes indoor or outside.

I bought this tablet for my daughter for Christmas. She sometimes uses her smartphone for viewing products or reading articles and I noticed that the screen is too small for that. I thought that this would help her with the larger screen and the price was so inexpensive that I couldn't pass it up! She loves it!

works great and so simple to use, all most all apps have a variant for fire available so that makes a great transition from iPads, Android tables for the really a fraction of the cost, we got it a great deal at best buy during the holiday season. Great value for the money...I only wish they came with more internal memory, 16 or 32 gb are not much, also if they provisioned with an external memory card port that would be incredible.
