For $49.99, the technology and ease of use simply can't be beat! It may also be adapted to download Android Apps by programming it to load the Google Play store in addition to the apps already available on Amazon. I love the Silk browser as well!

This is a reader. It does play video with decent quality but the screen is smaller. You can shop and read news but it is slower. The big positive is it takes an SD card, is a perfect size for a reader and costs $49.95 ish. I like it. For me, the HD was a waste because I use my iPad everything but reading. This is perfect for what a purchased it for.

Great Device

Since this is my first tablet device, I am learning via the trial & error process. A users manual would have been nice, and an instruction book cost way too much given the very low price for the tablet. The promotions for tablet instruction books claim you can become an expert in several hours, so I opted for the trial/error process.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.works great and so simple to use, all most all apps have a variant for fire available so that makes a great transition from iPads, Android tables for the really a fraction of the cost, we got it a great deal at best buy during the holiday season. Great value for the money...I only wish they came with more internal memory, 16 or 32 gb are not much, also if they provisioned with an external memory card port that would be incredible.
