Too much advertising/tracking

But there is far too much advertising and tracking. I've got it in kid mode and with parental controls, but it seems that I have to contact amazon to get the automatic ads on the lockscreen to go away. After those are gone, I think it might finally feel like a tool that was paid for once and my child can enjoy v. this endless effort, by amazon, to get me to pay for yet another thing. It will feel more robust with a cover, which we haven't gotten yet, so it still feels quite fragile. The display images are crisp, but since we are using it primarily for audiobooks, that doesn't matter so much. The speaker quality is a little scratchy, but does the job.
