Great tablet but was unable to project to TV

It has a great screen resolution and durability. I wasn't pleased when I realized I couldn't successfully project to my tv from the tablet, nor could I connect my smart thermostat and lights (app unavailable in the Amazon App Store). My wish would be for Amazon to allow projecting apps to tv and expanding their app offerings.
