I think that this is a nice tablet that is great for daily play and reading. I really like that there is an external slot for extra storage, and that it easily connects to amazon apps, and accessories.

Bought as a Christmas gift, super affordable tablet option. Woyld have been better if Amazon didnt show Ads on the Screensaver constantly, you have to pay a fee to Amazon to disable ads.

Bought this for my 5 year old grandson. Set it up ahead for parental controls. That was easy. You are very limited on the apps you can add by the Amazon store unless you sideload apps and games.

Great tablet for kids . Easy to set up and use. My daughters enjoy the Amazon fires. Parental controls are awesome. I definitely recommend and will buy again. Shipping was fast and smooth. I received the tablet in two days.

Was trying to avoid paying price for an iPad, but have since decided that will go to the iPad. But at $49 this is good for putting on the elliptical and watching Amazon videos listening to Prime Music while working out. Probably will experiment with some online reading too. However, I have noticed that the battery does not have very long life so I would recommend buying higher GB. If I workout for 30 minutes and watch an Amazon video, battery goes from 100% to 83% without being plugged in. There also seems to be a lag when scrolling among screens or apps. Imagine it would be great for young kids, elderly, etc.

If this is for kids it’s a good buy. Otherwise don’t waste you money. Spend a little more for something not so laggy.

Device was ridiculously slow from the moment we took it out of the package. Ended up returning it and upgrading to a different tablet

This my 2nd Fire; good for reading, following FB, playing games,etc. I like the size for all the above mentioned activities. I probably will buy another one when this one dies. The price range was right for me.

My grandson who is 5 years old loves this. I loved the price. No problem setting up. Make sure you get get a rubber case because it can easily get damaged/break if you're getting it for a child. It's also great for adults.

Bought this tablet for my 11 year old. She loves it and has had no issues with it all. Picture and battery life are good. Easy to use as well as durable. Liked it soo much i bought a fire tab HD8 for myself for a great price.

This tablet is perfect for toddlers. I bought two for my niece and nephew for Christmas and they love them. They’re easy to function and with the parental control options it’s easier to control what the kids are downloading.

Got this on Cuber Monday special. Can’t beat the price and was a Christmas present for a 9 year old. Easy set up and ready for use in under 30 minutes. Fires are ideal for kids, if you are going to invest for a youngster, this is my recommendation.

Nice item my daughter love it and easy to use and for the price we pay the tablet worth every penny, the other good thing if we are going somewhere and we don't have wifi ahe play the games the already are installed.

This tablet is perfect for me I just use it for news, ebooks, Pinterest, online browsing and light puzzle games and so far it works great the battery life is pretty decent and the size is perfect. Overall very pleased

Great starter tablet for kids! Got it for my stepson and it does all that he needs it to do. Downloaded books for reading time, and he has the games he likes for leisure time.

Work very well does what is suppose to do. Easy to opperate as well. Hold the charge for sometime as long as you let the battery drain to a bout 20% before you plung it in. It will last you a very long time.

Bought this tablet for my then 2 year old son and a year later it's still working like a charm after being tossed and stepped on etc. My son loves it especially the amazon free time it keeps him busy and learning.

This is my first tablet purchase, so i can't compare but it seems to have as many features as my smart phone. It has nice size screen and buttons are easily accessible. No complaints. Love it. It was very easy to set up.

You must know what you’re getting with this tablet. It has a small memory and is pretty slow. After downloading a few games, the memory fills pretty quickly. But if you’re just looking for a tablet to surf the web or to play games on a screen that is bigger than a cell phone but don’t want to spend a lot, this is a good option. I like it because I’m not a tablet type of person and use it sparingly so the price makes it perfect. Plus it is very easy to install the Google Play Store which makes this a full android tablet. Out the box, it has Amazon. It’s not bad but is somewhat limited. I’d suggest downloading the Google Play Store for sure.
