With Nine Children, I have purchased dozens of Kindle tablets. They used to be the best for the price. The newer fire tablets, however, do not last long. The charge ports become loose and the tablets will not charge. A person who is skilled with a soldering iron can properly repair a loose port, but the small connections makes it a difficult task. The last three tablets we purchased worked for about 4 months. I considered having them repaired by a professional, but opted instead to purchase new Samsung Tablets. Only buy these fire tablets if they will be charged only by an adult, never used while charging, and you are ok with replacing them regularly.

I had a difficult time setting it up. I haven't been able to use it as it hasn't been charged up yet.

I bought this tablet at a bargain during Best Buy's November deals and I think it would of been worth it even without the crazy discounts! The kids love it and it's super easy to set up the parental controls. This piece of tech can resist just about anything you throw at it or to. No regrets.

We bought this as a gift for someone that doesn't have the best track record with tablets! The purchase was definitely price driven and so far has turned out very well. no issues whatsoever would highly recommend if you're looking for an entry-level tablet at the right price.

I bought two of these tablets for my kids and they love them. Having the color backings is a fun added touch.

Great quality tablet we got for the boys. They love it and are still using it. Be sure to buy a case to protect it as the screen will crack easily. Tablet was easy to set up with passwords and such. Will buy one again when needed!

It does not have all the bells and whistles of a fancy tablet but cant get anything better for a kid.

This is the second fire tablet I have purchased. My daughter has one. She loves hers. She enjoys reading ebooks, playing games and listening to music. My son just received his for Christmas. He enjoys watching YouTube videos and playing Subway Surfers. So far we have had no issues with either of them.
