It's a nice tablet that's very easy to use especially for my 10 yr old. You can password protect it like anything else and restrict content as well.

this was on sale and my fiance had to have it . it's the perfect size and my son loves it to play his learning games .

My daughter always wanted a tab, so we bought her the "Amazon - Fire - 7" - Tablet - 8GB 7th Generation, 2017 Release - Black" for Christmas. It is not the best but it helps an 8-year-old with what needs to be done. Having used Android-based and iPads too, this is not the best tab. You will notice a slight delay in its response besides the Fire store is a little restrictive. But for about 50$ this is the best! I would definitely recommend this as a beginner tab.
