Albeit it can browse the web and do other things it really shines in Amazon world. Kindle, Alexa, shopping is why you want this as a primary or secondary device.

I bought this as a gift but it didn't work for what they needed it for. Ran very slow. But would be great for children.

I gave this a 1 star because there was no option for Zero! The tablet runs slow, is glitchy, and not user friendly at all!! I have never purchased an Amazon product and was unaware that you could not download normal apps like Vudu, YouTube kids, or even a real version of YouTube. Extremely disappointed!! I will be returning this item and will not consider another amazon product in the future.

It has too many apps that I cannot seem to delete. It doesn't offer many of the good apps. This tablet just has too much going on. Not very easy to customize.

This tablet would be great for somebody younger or somebody wanting to read with it. It is definitely not an iPad.

For the price this is a decent tablet. The only thing I was not happy with is that you cannot search using your microphone. You must type your search. : (

Good price. However, ads shows on the home screen which is irritating. Also there's not YouTube app. Good thing it was for my mom. She likes Netflix

This is my first tablet. Operating instructions are vague for a beginner, and difficult to understand. Attempted to obtain commercially produced instructions at library - none are available. One instruction publication is available through a national book seller, but is extremely expensive- a 69 page vague "pamphlet" selling for over $40!. I paid $29.95 for my Fire 7 with Alexa at Best Buy. At this time, I am disappointed in the product and would not recommend it .

Doesn't quite meet the need. The 8" model worked for the need, but this model does not. Not a bad product, just not quite what was needed.

Not what I was looking for. Brought so my kids can play online and play with apps but you can only get limited apps.

I like Amazon shows & prime membership but there were to many stores and my bank which didn’t have a fire version app.

Bought this for my wife due to her e reader breaking. She has no problems with the reader built in but says the OS is not that great. Needs more storage.

Bought this for myself to read ebooks however did not like the apps amazon had to download books off of. I love the google play books layout.

Purchased for my child, but unlike most android tablets the fire's interface is not very customizable. Not only does it not allow for you to pick and choose your home screens, but it doesn't have the ability to mirror/cast to other amazon fire devices such as the fire stick/tv. Older generation had this ability but they removed it for whatever reason. If your looking for a glorified kindle look no further, but if you want a real tablet I suggest elsewhere.

This tablet is very slow and the battery does not hold a charge long even when it’s not being used.

This was a purchase for a child and they loved. I will recommend for an adult if you’re using to read books.

I will never buy another one of these because they are slow and just go back to the page all the time

So far all I’ve used the tablet is for Netflix and Hulu. It works well. Does the job just feel like the battery does not last very long.

It is just your basic tablet. It doesn't run overly quick but works well with various Amazon apps.

So many Amazon apps that most of the memory is used up as soon as you turn it on for the first time
