All in all, it IS just okay. I purchased two of these for both my toddlers, and I got the basic/smallest storage option as they do not/will not be running/downloading lots of APPS at once. What I like about this Tablet: -Parental Control Option(s) -Amazon FreeTime -Easy for them to operate w/o help What I don't like: -Power cord stopped working a few months after purchasing -Takes FOREVER to load or access Wi-Fi -Frequently it states it is out of storage when it is not So, I guess you get what you pay for...

I bought this for my husband since he had given and sold the last 2 Tablets he had. Also he is a huge Apple fan. But He loves the Alexa feature. She is way smarter than Siri. You don’t have to pause when speaking to her. He also loves that it has everything on it. You just have to move the screen left or right. There are tons of apps to access, and other daily used apps. I got the yellow one. And it’s such a vibrant touch instead of your ordinary black. I think it made for a good pre early Christmas gift.

The Fire tablet is a nice little device if you are interested in doing some light reading, listening to music, or light web browsing. It doesn't run particularly fast, and doesn't have an amazing battery life, but it does work well with Amazon's products (go figure), so if you're heavily connected with Amazon, then this is a nice little tablet for some basic entertainment needs. If you are interested in a more powerful device with a better display, then you'd be better off with an iPad, but you can't beat what you get for the price.

As a tablet at its price, it is not bad. It is not very powerful, but little power is needed as a quick-grab web browser. It works well as a tablet left around the house for random use, such as in the bathroom. The OS is not stock Android, so do not expect to use it like a typical tablet. The battery is decent, and lasts for several days with intermittent use, unlike Windows tablets that seem to drain each day, even when in sleep mode. Amazon has taken over the OS on this tablet, and advertises through the tablet constantly.

I bought the 8 GB model (which can be extended by micro SD card upto 256 GB), so was a pretty much cheap for a tablet with all features. Its good for kids, adults and old people and I bought 5 of them to gift them as Christmas gift. loving it.

Its a decent travel size, but lacks a lot of apps I can use on my android and sometimes a bit lagging in speed. Buy for the price, its a good tablet

This is the perfect size for our daughter. Who is always wanting us to load games or apps on our phones. Now she can have her own and it's not to big or heavy for her to really drop and damage it. We still did buy a case for it

Grandkids love it! Easy use for 4, 5 year olds! Although the charging ports do have issues, but I always get the extra warranty

I really like my Amazon Fire. It was a great price and handy to play games in the evening and do Internet searches .

I purchased for my son and he loves it. The only downside is all the adds that pop up, but overall it is a good tablet for the price.

I bought about 3 of these. 2 for my nephews and 1 for me lol I absolutely love this Kindle. It does exactly what I need- light online surfing, reading, games. I love the size- fits even in my small purses. The sound quality is great, also. I occasionally play youtube videos for the kids; the volume is loud enough to be heard even if the kids are at opposite sides of our great room. I bought this during the holidays at $39 and the one with higher gigs at $79. Even at it's regular price, I'd still buy it.

The Amazon Fire 7" tablet is perfect to carry in my backpack. It looks and sounds great. Easy to use and works nice!

Excellent device to use during travel. Multitasking purpose as well as compact portability. Ease of use and ample storage.

My 8 year old broke his iPad so I opted for the less expensive Kindle. It has been great and has been a nice replacement. Definitely not the iPad but I am happy with the game selections, wifi, and the sturdiness of this device.
