I bought two of these tablets for my kids and they love them. Having the color backings is a fun added touch.

The Kindle HD Fire 10 is preferred for those wanting to view videos in full size. However, this model is quite acceptable for email and surfing the web. In fact, it might be the choice if you like the easier to handle and more compact size. An incredible value at the price!

It does not have all the bells and whistles of a fancy tablet but cant get anything better for a kid.

This is the second fire tablet I have purchased. My daughter has one. She loves hers. She enjoys reading ebooks, playing games and listening to music. My son just received his for Christmas. He enjoys watching YouTube videos and playing Subway Surfers. So far we have had no issues with either of them.

It's good purchase for kids, but not for a good tablet replacement. It's very slow, lags and freezes often. Not many apps selection.. If you get it as an e-reader. I wish i could say go for it, but personally.. I don't like the brightness it gives for reading ebooks. I think their kindle paperwhite is probably a better option. I would only recommend this if you travel a lot, for little kids, if you're trying to stay on a budget. It's good, it will work. But if you're trying to get a fancy tablet and go against flagship competitors then don't. if you don't care much about the lag and slowness and you're patient go for it. You won't regret it, it's a good tablet, just not the best

I basically use it for games, most of the time they work.. But, kinda annoying when accounts connect... :/

Downloading Netflix content and using it on the go, it is very good. You need to buy a memory card though.

Bought this for my young daughter and it is more than capable tablet for all the games she loves to play.
