gave to this for my niece and she was very happy. I connected it to my LAPL account to borrow some books and she was the happiest girl on earth. I set up parental control and this was perfect so she was already conditioned on when to use her tablet. And did i mention it was only $40? what a steal!

This is good for those who don't need much for a tablet. Has internet, has games, has apps. My dad isn't a techy type but still wanted a tablet. Wasn't going to spend 200$ for him to only use the internet and play music. This was a great buy and I'll probably buy another for me

This tablet is one of the best on the market; especially for avid readers and gamers. Recommend buying a Kindle Reading membership to access thousands of books and magazines for less than $5/month! Great tablet to check out digital library books, store recipes, or play games.

The Kindle Fire 7 is a good basic tablet. It is attractive looking - I like the blue. It's not super fast, but not really slow. It's good for reading and basic games. I did not like the keyboard...it seemed squished. I am used to Samsung though. Sound quality is meh. Battery life is good. The biggest reason I ended up getting a 7 inch Galaxy Tab a month after buying this Kindle Fire 7 is because the blue light filter on this thing makes the screen some shade of orange or red, and I cannot find a brightness setting with that filter on that does not hurt my eyes. I want to read Kindle books in the dark so I don't disturb my wife. The second is that the screen is cluttered by things I do not want - and this version of Android is very much un-customizable. Overall...I think this is a good quality product, and I trust Amazon. I don't hate this tablet, and will probably keep it at work in my desk where I won't need the light filter. But...I wish I'd spent a little more and just stuck with Samsung.

Great tool for reading as the size of the screen is just right. This version has the Alexa capabilities which are fun to use. The 1.3 Ghz allows for steaming of movies at a pretty decent rate. Finally the marine color adds a little sassiness with a touch of sophistication.

If you don't need to live on your tablet this is great! Cheap, fast, clear and easy function. I use it to read books, it has a wonderful blue light mode for bed time. Nice ability to use an SD card. wonderful internet connection and easy movie download for offline viewing.

At a minimum you shoulb buy a microSD card (16 or 32gb) otherwise you will have practically no memory. Even with a 32gb SD card ($9.99) the price is still great. I would recommend you put the google play store on this as the amazon app store is not all that great. Just search youtube

Easy to use, size fix for one hand to hold and the battery is good too, but the memory is not enough need buy external memory card.

Bought as a spare small size travel tablet. Really like the yellow color. $35 price as cheap as off-name brand versions with same memory that others offered. Free shipping was an added plus. Larger memory and/or screen sizes available for reasonable price increases.

Got it on the Black Friday deal. Great for the price, but thinking of upgrading to the Fire 8 which has bigger screen, more memory, and is faster. Watched reviews of a guy throwing this on a hard wood floor multiple times with no cracks or scratches. Got it for the kids.

My husband wanted to load books on it instead of carrying books. He liked the ease of purchasing and loading. We went to Florida and he could not read from it in the bright sun due to glare. Otherwise, he is liking it but wished it came with more instructions in the box.

I checked my e-mail and it was good. I have not taken any photos yet and my old one did not have this feature. I used it for games and am learning. The best part is the price. It only cost $30. I will explore as I conquer the new item. Being old it takes us longer.

People complain about the lock screen ads but they in no way hinder function that I have seen. It runs a little slow on WiFi and has connection issues sometimes, but it's perfect price wise and in functionality for the purpose I bought it. Not a bad little tablet.

This product is quite nice. You can surf the web and watch videos. My favorite thing is that it has very strong parental control. If you have kids that are unruly, you can setup this device to regulate their web viewing habit. For that it is a 5 stars.

This is such a great device! You can read books, play games and watch videos online. And its so light that you can carry it anywhere from when you need entertainment without adding extra weight on your back or in your jacket pocket. I love the Kindle!

works great no issues i only use to scroll facebook. coupon shop. look up recipes. i use messenger at times to speak to my grandchildren. i play a few games on it as well it works well for me id recommend this tablet. great product, great price

This Amazon tablet seems to be very functional although Amazon store is missing some apps that you would be able to purchase on Google play or the Apple apps other than that the sizes large screen is perfect all of their applications work just fine

I purchased this tablet for my toddler daughter so that she could have something to keep her occupied when we are traveling. I absolutely love it. It is just what she needed, conveniently priced, and it was delivered very quickly and right on time.

Great value for money, easy and light to travel with and fits neatly in your purse. The viewing quality is really good for a small screen.
