I brought it for my 3 year old and he loves this thing. I like how it comes in the protective case and that makes for one less item that you have to buy. Even my 7 year old enjoys this product. Great buy for the price also... and you get a free year of amazon

Perfect for kids!

It was awful! A few months later I bought the Amazon fire kids edition and I wouldn’t recommend any other tablet for kids. It’s perfect. You don’t have to worry about them going onto unapproved sites. It’s all kid friendly downloads and my daughter loves it!

Great tablet

The cases are a huge plus for us too! I dont worry so much about them getting damaged! They are pretty heavy duty! This particular tablet was only $10 more than the smaller tablet and has twice the memory as well!

Highly recommend for kids

You can set it up to where you have to approve any downloads to the tablet, which the approvals come to your phone. I have been able to download all the apps she used to have on her old tablet (hulu, netflix, movies anywhere etc.). The tablet doesnt move slow/take long to load. The case it comes with is an extra bonus and will come in handy when she drops it. Cant speak to battery life but it charged fairly quickly.

Great tablet for beginners

I think I underestimated her because she has just taken off with this Amazon Fire HD. I didn't know if it was going to be too complicated for her but she's mastered it. She's now swiping and searching for her own cartoons. I like the fact that I can limit her content so she's not looking at sites I don't approve of. The only issue I have is it's a bit slow to download and she gets impatient. But I'm not sure if that's my internet issues or not. Overall, I would recommend this tablet.

Overall we are extremely happy with it for the value.

My Girlfriend and I have 2 kids, 5 and 2 and these tablets are life savers. The games are safe and easy to play yet offer learning experiences and hand eye coordination. They are easy to use and have been extremely durable so far. For an adult they're a bit slow and the speakers suck but for a kid they're just right.

The battery life is amazing and I am going to purchase two more for my younger two daughters (they have the previous version that die fast).

Definitely a great Christmas gift I got for my nephew as he is occupied with the tablet. It has parental controls which is great and gives you that sense of security. Too much horrible stuff on YouTube .
