I already had one of these for myself, I purchased 2 to give as gifts. I love my Amazon tablet. I find it intuitive to use, the battery is long lasting and I was able to download Chrome and all of my favorite Google apps to make it function exactly the way I would like it to. I found a great case online and use it constantly. I got a great price at Best Buy, even better than on Amazon!

Good tablet for the price - simple and works well without many bells/whistles. Downside is you are limited to apps offered by Amazon - google play store apps are not supported

It is a very good tablet for basics: watching videos, reading, casual gaming. Lower your expectations and you'll be happy. Especially when on sale. Don't expect iPad quality at a $100 price. But with this Fire HD10 you get a pretty good screen and speakers for basic media consumption. Sure at the expense of deep integration with Amazon services, but for some people, it is a good thing

Kids had one of each of them for about a year they was good for them but a little slow we returned under warranty cause they broke them and upgraded to Lenovo tables much better tablets
