I do suggest that you get a warranty and of course screen protector and case. They are not as fast as an iPad but they get the job done.

Lower your expectations and you'll be happy. Especially when on sale. Don't expect iPad quality at a $100 price. But with this Fire HD10 you get a pretty good screen and speakers for basic media consumption. Sure at the expense of deep integration with Amazon services, but for some people, it is a good thing

Amazon Fire HD 10 Tablet

It's is a much faster tablet than my older version. I understand that this doesn't compare to the newer IPAD's, but it doesn't cost anywhere near the price either. It has plenty of apps. I use it mainly to run my Bible app. Easy to use and I will add a memory card for more storage.
