Honestly not good

Ok tablet, horrible customer service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.2 weeks ago I got the Amazon Fire 10 tablet as an early Christmas present. I finally finished setting it up. There are several problems with this tablet. The Amazon App Store doesn't have all of the apps that the Google Play Store and Apple App Store have. It's a good thing the Fire tablet has a custom Android operating system because I could install the Google Play Store (yes, it is compatible). The Google Play Store isn't available in the Amazon App Store, so you would have to Google how to install it. I have found that apps downloaded from the Google Play Store seem to work better than apps downloaded from the Amazon App Store. The most difficult process was copying pictures from my Android phone to my tablet. Although it has a contacts app and has the option to import your contacts from your phone, it isn’t possible to import your contacts. Another problem is the Fire tablet isn't always responsive. Also, while I was setting it up I got locked out of my Amazon account. On the 3rd day of being locked out, I called customer service and they had me create a new account with the same e-mail so I wouldn’t lose everything on my Fire tablet. That process was also difficult. Although it is a good basic tablet for people who don't know much about electronics, I don't recommend this tablet and don't plan on getting another Fire tablet next time. It takes too much time and research to make it a better tablet. Their customer service is also horrible as I have now been locked out of my account again. This time the customer service agent eventually hung up on me.
