She saw my 8 inch that i got so we went back and got her a bigger one since she likes the bigger screens. she is able to lsten to her audiobooks and play er candy crush lol

Battery life is perfect for what we used it for and using it for the whole week we never had to put it on life support (charger while using) It met every mark flawlessly and would recommend it to friends and others.

Th only con in my opinion is the sound quality which is not the best but it is okay. Also, there is ads in the screen saver and you have to pay $15 to remove it.

At first I wasn’t worried about it but then some inappropriate content started to be advertised and that sealed the deal and I sold it. Amazon forces you to pay to remove the ads. Overall it’s not a bad tablet just the ads. Nobody wants to pay for a tablet twice.

I understand your concern about having to pay to remove ads from a device you've already purchased. You can remove lock screen ads by going to Settings > Apps & Notifications > Amazon Offers and turning off Special Offers, or by contacting Amazon to have the ads removed for a fee. Alternatively, you can set up parental controls or create an Amazon Kids profile, which provides an ad-free experience designed specifically for children with age-appropriate content filtering. For the standard Fire HD 10, you can also adjust your advertising preferences in your Amazon account settings to help control the types of ads displayed.
