It's a TOY!

Kinda sorta works but is quirky. SD drives error on boot but work. Running "FIRE OS" which is a vendor specific OS and pretty restricted. Loading third parrty apps is hit and miss as some work and some don't. Save yourself the hassle and buy a different brand if you want a true Android Tablet.

Great tablet with a little work

At first I didn’t care for it that much with all the Amazon bloatware and locked down App Store but after a little research you could easily disable any of the pre installed apps and advertisements and install a full blown version of the play store with all related functions to make it a android tablet without bloatware.

Great 10 inch tablet

She enjoys the ease of use of this tablet and uses it mostly for reviewing her emails and for playing games which by the way Amazon offers many free games to play. The tablet is light weight even with the portfolio cover that she bought.

Decent tablet for the price paid

Sound is really good to listen to movies. Connectivity is also good. The downside is the Amazon interface UI. It is not as intuitive as other products with an android core OS. Good price for the specification. Don't expect a Galaxy Tab 6S, this is not that. Good for web surfing, email, some light work and the eventual light games.

four-time kindle owner

I only wish someone would make a better cover for protection against my 3-year old granddaughter dropping it too often and forcing me to buy a new one. I need a rubbery border like she has for her child kindle. She throws that thing all over and never harms it.
