No explanation and of course Amazon said it was just out of replacement timeframe. Oh well. Good thing they aren't too pricey.

By far the bes option is you are looking just to navigate on google and the web, i dont use it for taking pictures or using apps. So for me is the best option and i dont care much about my kids playing with it because is not an expensive device.

AFTER 5 YEARS WITH THE OLD ONE GETTING SLOWER AND CHARGING MORE IT WAS TIME. WELL WORTH THE MONEY

I like the scrolling screen of icons better on my old one. Have to hold the button a while before it comes on and it gets dim and bright off and on but the battery lasts a long time.

Also don't underestimate this for work. Great screen, very durable dropped twice, Fire apps work very well on it (mail, calendar, browser).

Only thing I could think of that can be improved is probably more supported apps on the store. Like Whatsapp, telegram, etc. Even official YouTube app is not available. But for a regular use, this is sufficient.
