Perfect for the mother in law, simple to use and affordable

Overall a nice tablet for the money. My husband uses of for email, surfing the web, and the occasional game. I have not downloaded Google play, but gmail was easy to set up. Google calendar was also easy but is an abbreviated version. Both work fine and meet my needs. Only complaint is that it can lose it's Wi-Fi connection causing some slow page loading.

My wife was interested in an EYEpad, however, we balked at the premium pricing. The Fire tablet gives you an AMAZING value, I am recommending them to everyone in the market. Don't worry about the lack of Google Play store, you can EASILY add it, just look on YouTube and it takes 2 minutes.

I love best buy for their no problem warranty. This was a 5th grade graduation gift got my daughter and I don't have to worry if she accidentally drops it! Had I of ordered it through Amazon directly I wouldn't even get the awesomeness best buy has to offer! #BestBuy #BestLife

Overall the screen is bright and responsive. Speakers are loud and Alexa works well. You are limited in App choices as Amazon App Store is what is available (Google Play has to be sideloaded through a multiple step process). This means some apps, such as Yahoo Sports (to watch football live for free) are not available. Other than that it is very nice.

It works better than I expected it's a great thing to have

I am very happy with the fast downloads. I have a very impatient two-year-old great-grandson who watches all his shows on this tablet. He will sing and dance along with all his favorites. This is one of three that I bought. I have even read some books on his tablet.

Looks and works as expected. Much cheaper than the apple iPad

I purchased this tablet for two reasons: storing and reading my books. I had grown weary of not having access to my physical books and I wanted to have the features that the Fire offered, like text to speech. I have to say that I really like this tablet for the reasons I purchased it.

Very easy to use has a good size screen and a good picture

I am a baby boomer who was actually afraid to purchase a tablet for fear I would not use it enough to get my money's worth. I could not have been more wrong!!! I love my new tablet. I take it everywhere. My grandson is two and has his games on it as well. He loves it too!!

Bought for wife for her birthday she loves it,, the size is great

This tablet is great. The fact that Amazon added a kid lock to it really helps when allowing the little ones to play. The only thing I would wish is that they could not slide the drop down menu to try to get out of Playtime. it seems that I am constantly having to restart movies, etc. when they start playing around.

I purchased this Fire tablet over a year ago and still and amazed at the brightness and the clarity of the screen. Reading my Kindle books using the ap is wonderful. But what I really enjoy is setting outside on my deck and watching NetFlix with the wireless capabilities.

Great tablet for what was needed. Web searching and storage.
