Bought this for very intermittent use as a substitute Echo Show for the kitchen, just for playing music/podcasts/etc and pulling up recipes. It works fine, but it takes a few seconds to do pretty much anything. Not terrible when you're only using it sparingly, but this would never cut it for me as a regular tablet.

Will meet all of your needs as far as going online, reading email, playing games, reading books and magazines, and pretty much whatever else you want to do. Just know that it only has the Amazon app store (by default) and not the Google play store (but there is ways around this)

For the price is a nice tablet, you can add external memory.

I have been using my girlfriend's tablet witch is a Samsung tab A and this tablet does just as good! I use it to almost all my online activities and even play games and can play all my ITunes music from the sd card witch really surprised me! Another great product from Amazon thanks.

I like using this more convenient than using my big computer. I take it with me everywhere I go. It fits in my purse. The kids like to use it to play games. I can get my banking information, I use it to Google info, and do online shopping. Well worth the purchase!

Great for someone who wants a bigger screen for reading

Firstly,i am an Android lover so i was hesitant on purchasing this tablet. However,after trying quite a few others in varying android os versions,i figured why not. Great performance and value.very responsive and completely satisfied with the purchase.

I use the Amazon fire pad for watching movies only so far.

The length to width ratio is disproportionate and makes it awkward to hold compared to other tablets. It lags and freezes up a lot and the Alexa feature is not as in tune as the rest of my Amazon products. The only decent thing about it is the battery life.

keeps my grandchild very busy. easy to use for both of us.

If you know how to use android items then you can do a lot with this. Mine runs old school game emulators like SNES and Sega Genesis with no issues. It even works with the bluetooth controller so I can game anywhere. Love this thing

The tablet is very intuitive and responsive. I am not crazy about the ads that come with it...which one may get rid of by reimbursing Amazon the discount. It is not worth it to me, but would rather not have them pop up every time I use it or it goes to sleep.
