The buttons don't work well

If I press it doesn't turn on, and the volume button requires me to do a hard hold for me to change the volume. It was not what I was expecting. I will be returning this, to switch with a different one to see if it any different, but I'm very disappointed for the lack of quality control.

I returned it the very next day after purchasing it. I understand its a cheap tablet, but i wish amazon would up the speed on this device as i loved the look, feel and especially the interface as im heavily invested in the amazon. I would definitley pay extra for a speedier amazon tablet if available.
