I bought the tablet on a whim. Not having an amazon tablet before I didn't know I could not put android apps on it. It's a great tablet just something I wouldn't purchase again.

I expected a user manual with the Amazon Fire HD 10-10.1 Tablet so I could learn about all the different features that the tablet has to offer, and any troubleshooting solutions.

Doesn't work too well for anything except amazon stuff. Really disappointing. Almost any other tablet would've been better.

The screen is great but other than that this is an awful product as it's handicapped by Amazon and doesn't offer the full Android play store.

Decent tablet in most aspects. the only bad thing, the quality of the video playing videos on YouTube. It is very poor.

I'll keep this short. I picked this tablet up today after seeing some information on it after it was released. It is a big step forward over last year's model with a starting price $80 less than last year. I mainly bought it to use for web browsing and watching videos in bed or when away from home whenever I wanted a screen larger than my phone. in general, you can't reasonably expect to get much better than this quality and performance at this price point. it isn't likely to replace your iPad in quality, but if you just want something simple and don't necessarily need all the bells and wistles, this tablet is great. I am satisfied with the hd screen but also a little dissapointed. I am used to my Note 8, Lenovo Yoga 710, and Samsung MU9000 tv which all have some of the best displays on the market. in comparison, I wish the Fire HD 10 had a brighter display and that the colors were a little more brilliant/saturated on video playback. Video playback is honestly good for the price which is why I still gave it 4 stars. But I've been spoiled with my other, albeit, more costly devices. I would recommend this device for anyone looking for a portable display wanting to mainly use for watching videos and surfing the web. the speakers and headphone output are adequate also. Nothing to really note as special.

Bought this tablet and worked great for the first day. Day two, not so much. Tried charging again with no luck. Tablet simply would not power back on. Went online with phone to see how to do a hard reset but nothing would make this tablet come back to life. Saw online that this is not uncommon for these tablets to do. Returned

I had 2 HD10 tablets within 1 year. Every 6 months I was not able to charge the tablet so I would have to send it back. Even though it was still under warranty, and Amazon would send me another one for free, it became a nuisance to have to send it back and wait for another one. I asked was there a problem with this tablet and the answer was always No. Duh, there is a problem.

First time buying an amazon tablet and not happy with every time you log in there's an ad. Would not buy another one.

It's ok as far as tablets go. Would be a decent tablet for a child. Can play non graphic intense games. Is an ok reader. Fun colors.

The tablet charging port connector broke within a year. Not able to change anymore.

The device seemed great but I had to return it because it only had about 10 language options and none were the one I was looking for.

Worked one day; the only way mine starts up is if it's attached to the charger.... that's on a good day. I've factory restored it and it will not run on battery even though when booted with the charger battery power reads 99%. On days when I was frustrated with it, I put in the drawer and used my 3rd gen 7" Fire HDX... With all my attempts to fix it myself, I've now passed the return window with BB. Buyer beware.

I bought this tablet for my sister and it’s horrible! I actually have one for myself and it’s fine but for some reason her tablet is problematic. To start with, it would turn off by itself so we returned it and got a new one. Now it doesn’t hold charge but of course Best Buy doesn’t accept it after a few days after purchase. We only had this one for a month or so. Hopefully Amazon can do something about it.

The device keeps freezing up - plan on taking it back to the store today to see if they can fix it. Frustrating.

tablet will not power on. like using it to read worked great with kindle but $149.00 a year is pricey to read books.

The product is very nice but I can not get it to work right.. Need to take it back to see if they can help me get this thing going.

Very disappointed in new tablet wont retain my WiFi code very slow operating system

Amazon Fire was a bit sluggish and didn't really preform to the expectations that we wanted it to do.

I was not happy that after one week, it stopped working for me. Had to exchange for a new one.
