Fantastic value!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This good-size tablet delivers without breaking the bank. It has all the features you could want(if you want a great camera, buy a camera-not a tablet). I mainly wanted it for use as an e-reader, but have found it to be useful for checking email, as a small TV in the kitchen, and as a screen for my thermal imaging rig. I'm sure I will find more and more uses for it as time goes by. The image is sharp and clear. The battery life, so far, is superior to any device I've owned. It's easy to use and navigate. The blue light reduction feature is useful for late evening reading. You will not be disappointed in your purchase.

Nice tablet for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace the Echo Show that was in our kitchen. I wanted an Alexa device with a bigger screen that I could run apps on, primarily the Silicon Dust HD Homerun app so we could have live TV. It works great for that and it makes a decent Alexa device. The audio is plenty loud, but lacks any bass so ok for tv for not great for music. It does lack the Alexa messaging options which I don't understand. We use the drop in feature as an in-home intecom so I hope they add this feature at some point because it seems to be an artificial software limitation. It's mounted on an aluminum stand and connected to power full time, so I also installed an app from the Amazon app store that keeps the display on all the time so it mimics the Show as much as possible. For the money this is a great tablet. It doesn't match the current iPads in terms of build quality or the display (or audio) but the price difference between them is huge.

Great tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The tablet is awesome. Battery, processor, screen are all great. The only reason it’s 4 stars is that you cannot mirror this device on your tv and the amount of apps available are limited by amazon.

Great tablet, great price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tablet is zippy, has a sharp screen and the Amazon lock screen ads are really no big deal. Look online for an easy way to get all your Google play store apps! It is plasticy feeling, but a good case will solve that. For the price, you can't beat it.

Excellent purchase!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We are very happy with our Amazon Fire HD10 tablet so far. For half the price of Apple products it’s pretty much a no brainer. Has plenty of storage and the speed is just fine. No issues with anything. We watch videos, surf the web, play games all with ease. Purchased a foam case with a carrying handle that works great, especially with the little ones around. Love how big the screen is! Would definitely recommend to anyone on the market for a tablet or iPad.

Great tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Amazon 10" tablet is easy to use. I had the 7" tablet before and I liked that one but this tablet has a large screen. So easy to read and is very easy to set up. I was up and running in minutes.

Great tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tablet is super easy to use. I love everything about it. I like using the hands free alexa. The only thing is I didn't realize that it has ads that I have to pay an extra $15 to get rid of.

Nice Tablet at a Fair Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tablet to replace my iPad. While it definitely isn't the same as an iPad, it does do a very nice job. I does what I need it to do and much more. The picture quality is excellent, it's fast, and light weight. There are a lot of apps available too. Amazon's Alexa app has been integrated into it which is a nice touch. All-in-all, this is an excellent choice for someone wanting a tablet at a fair and reasonable price.

Amazon's best tablet.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazon has created a budget tablet that works perfectly for my situation, With the 10 inch model Alexa comes integrated and is a charming addition that really makes this tablet stand out. Amazon prime members will benefit from Amazon's Video library and for avid kindle readers you couldn't have a better device. I personally use my tablet as a school tablet since it is light weight, portable and great on battery life.

Good Device
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 10" Fire tablet is a reasonably priced tablet with a good screen and reasonable battery life. The built in Alexa is a great feature. Amazon has its own version of Android so you can't easily run apps from the Google play store (Google is a competitor). I have not found many useful apps in the Amazon app store. You can watch YouTube with a Silk browser (big plus).

Good Tablet for the Price
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great tablet for the price. It has Amazon's modifications to the regular Android operating system, but for the average user that should not present a problem. The screen is crystal clear and very responsive. The 32GB provides enough memory for downloading lots of music and movies. Nice quality table, runs quickly, and has a great battery life.

Small all in one devise
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased this Kindle for my 85 year old mother. It allows her easy access to email, an array if games, her Facebook, and internet. This device has helped reopen her world that was closed by difficult health issued. It’s easy to use and large enough for her to see and operate. The price was surprisingly low. This is a great all around device

Delivers as promised
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used a Chromebook for several years and find it to be all I require in a day to day digital device. My best friend has used a Kindle and spends far too many hours each day with the device in her hands. Chrome tablets are scarce and more expensive than the Kindle (which I purchased at a 1/3 off discount) so I bought the Kindle for those times when a tablet is more convenient and a smartphone is too small. I have spent decades in high end electronics sales and have had many clients ask if the 12' wide video screen was the largest I sold and how many subwoofers are enough. So it's always amazed me that people actually watch movies and videos on a phone's tiny screen. I believe I knew what to expect from the Kindle and it has done all of those functions well. The size is small enough to hold comfortably and large enough to read from a moderate distance. The screen is bright and sufficiently detailed to view any source. Music and vocals are clearly enunciated though I miss real audio systems which provide the sound of real instruments and real artists. Call me old fashioned and I will admit it is true. I just don't live with a digital device in my hand at all times. I have used an iPad for work purposes and found it unnecessarily clumsy for just simple day to day use. Until there is a competitively priced Chrome tablet, buy the Kindle. You very likely will be pleasantly surprised and completely satisfied.

Feature Rich but Capability Lacking
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The fire line of products have far superior features in terms of speed, graphics and storage. However, the locking down of the tablet for Fire OS limits it's potential. If you are okay with using a handful of apps that are part of the Amazon App Store, then there is no competition for this tab. The price is so competitive that the only reason I gave it up was the restriction of using only Fire OS and not being able to use Play Store.

Great Tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as a replacement to a 10" Samsung Tab3 which my daughter used for several years with assitstive speech and other educational uses. I'd bought another Android tablet that just did not fair as well with use of the apps. This has been better than expected. And on sale in November 2017 was the lowest priced item...always a plus! I did have to do a few things to download items outside of the Amazon store. The only negative is that I've not really found a way to keep her out of the Amazon store as any screen saver is and ad to click and access the store. I've pretty much shut it out of the account. But she still gets around it from time to time.

Go ahead get the big one.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I started with the $35 7 inch Kindle. Why? It was $35, so no big deal. I liked it quite a bit, but within a year it became glitchy and the battery wouldn't keep a charge. So that Black Friday I moved onto the 8 inch HD Kindle. Vast improvement no glitches, screen clear as day. Loved it. Brought it everywhere. Within a few years it done filled up on me and gave me that low memory warning which just will not go away. So now that I'm hooked on Kindle Fire and all it can do, I finally ponied up and bought the top of the line Big 10 Inch! Boy oh boy am I ever glad I did. Does every thing my old 8 inch model does plus a few extras and as an added plus, double the memory right out of the box. Don't be afraid, don 't hold back because it costs too much, just buy the big one; You won't regret it. I like to watch lots of classic TV shows on Prime, back in the day TV screens weren't much bigger than this, so they look great. Magazines and books are so easy to read, for no other reason it's just worth it to save your eyes. Get one you'll love it.
