Easy to navigate and the perfect size and easy to use.

Our granddaughter really enjoys her tablet. Her dad was able to program parental safeguards and she has been using it well.

I wanted this tablet for two separate reasons: 1) to view TV programs via my Direct TV app, which required me to install a program that allowed me to use Google Play, 2) to use this tablet as an inexpensive Amazon Show with the optional Show base You will not be disappointed in making this purchase

So... my Mother reads about 10 books a week. she had the paper white but also enjoys playing simple games and watching netflix that she chooses by herself. My mother in law likes playing mahjong and all solitaire games. she also likes netflix. this tablet is easy to use even for the technology challenged.

Just what I needed...I am very impressed at how easy it is to download movies and television shows, and then delete them after watching. I am at best a frustrated beginner at tablet use...but this tablet makes everything user friendly. Great product we will see how long it lasts, but for now I am very satisfied!

Simple use, great picture, if your not locked into to samsung or apple, this is really good tablet, no it does not have the the google play store with all the apps, but what is does do is stream everything with a good 1080p picture...so save yourself the extra 100 dollars, & get this instead..

I was going to get my son the same Acer tablet my girlfriend has but they were sold out. This was a little cheaper around Christmas time, so we went with this. Fast downloads. Smooth operations between programs. Now by girlfriend is bugging me to get her one. She's jealous. Fat chance, sweetheart. Maybe for your birthday.

Aside from it being a little big in my hands, it's another amazing Amazon device. Does everything you need and more. Amazon is betting big on these devices.

My wife has been trying to get me a tablet for several years and I always said no that I was use to using my small smartphone. She got me an Amazon Fire HD Tablet for Christmas and I love it! It is so easy to use and the screen is 2 to 3 times larger than my cellphone! I should have gotten one earlier!

I bought this for reading, but the Kindle Fire HD because it was also a tablet. It’s a great reader, but it’s not going to replace my iPad. First off, it’s slow. Just entering text into the search box causes it to lag. The graphics are also slow to load. It’s not my internet connection, I have gigabyte speeds and ac band WiFi. I haven’t found native word processors or spreadsheets, and the apps available for this are clunky and difficult. (to be fair, even Apples and Microsoft’s don’t work as well on tablets as they should) Then there’s the ads. They are everywhere. I get that this is a very cheap tablet, but really! I hate the ads on this thing. I want to be able to decide what my lock screen looks like, not an ad. The ads make it look like this device is designed to increase the net worth of a multi-billionaire. The Kindle might be okay for kids, but not for adults. By the way, I had to type this review on my iPad. I couldn’t do it on my Kindle.

I had to replace my 4 year old Kindle that wouldn't recharge, but had been such a reliable tool. Well, that one is history, and the new model has restored my faith. all my programs and games switched over or downloaded overnight, the colors and speed are much improved, and life has returned to normal.

Other than the hdx this is the best one I've used. Fast loading between apps.

I bough this tablet for my mom and it’s been a perfect match for what I paid. The Amazon Fire tablet it’s an excellent device for simple day to day tasks like watching Netflix or any other streaming service and also some casual basic gaming and e-reading.

I bought this as a gift. He really likes it and uses it all the time. The salesperson at BestBuy was really helpful.

This tablet is great because you can program it for your children and it's great for traveling. Educational apps are very helpful. Built in Alexa is amazing. I would recommend this product of you like movies, music, educational apps for kids, or online shopping.

better size than 7 inch kindle fire easy to use and set up for the beginer

I bought this for my wife for Christmas and it's become a favorite of hers. She uses it to watch her tv shows and also to read books. It's very lightweight, and the picture is very clear and sound is good. She uses it all the time and it's very solid and well built. Great product.
