Maybe i'm not 100% connected to everything but for what I need this is a great tablet. Easy connection to Amazon Prime and their apps plus there's tons of info out there on how to load the Google Play Store app to install those apps that aren't ported to Amazon (no problems running anything yet)

I wanted to upgrade my wife's 8" HD Kindle that has been a source of enjoyment for over 2 years.She was reluctant to give up that 'old friend' at first.But,after I presented her with the new,10" HD Kindle, she was quickly pleased with her NEW friend! And the sale price at Best Buy was incredible!

This generation Kindle has it all with Alexa. If you have or get this 7th generation with Alexa there is no need for the Echo at any generation. No need at all for Echo. Save your $$. You can get everything you want with the 7th Generation Kindle(tablet, reader, and Alexa) to control your smart home

It’s not an iPad but it’s great for the price. Pretty snappy.

This serves as an excellent digital reader/tablet in almost every sense, except one: It is quite heavy. I recognize that packing all that good technology into a simple package isn't easy, but particularly when used with its protective case, it gets a little much to hold as one might hold a paperback book. Its battery life is most impressive.

Great deal when it was on sale at BestBuy. Screen is large yet feels light. The startup ad is no bother. I do wish it didn't use old USB charger. Feels like kids will try to plug it in the wrong way and break it. Honest opinion...the 8 was good enough. 10 is for my aging eyes.

This is cool , very light weight and easy to use.

I've had a Kindle for years; but finally accepted that it's easier for ageing eyes to have things larger. So I got the 10" one. I like it a lot, the only drawback is that since it's bigger it's also heavier. So I got one of those pillow things to prop it up without having to hold it and everything is great

The Amazon - Fire HD 10 - 10.1" - Tablet is a fantastic choice! I love using it for downloading required reading for my job and for storing movies on the Movies Anywhere app. I highly recommend purchasing a 256GB SD-card, a glass screen protector and a case for this tablet.

The only issue with the tablet is the set-up instructions. As with most electronics now days, the manufacturer provides minimal documentation on the operation of the device. There is a lot of trial and error obtaining APPS, accessing the web and placement of APPS for later use. Once you figure things out, the resolution is great, large, easy to read text and graphics.

This is the sixth Kindle reader I have bought. The size is great. It still fits in my bag for when I go out and want to bring it along. The camera feature is great. I can now take picture without needing a separate device. I highly recommend buying the Kindle if you like having a tablet for multiple uses.

It is well built, screen is nice and functions okay but I find the surfing the internet is slow compared to my much cheaper tablet. App store is not as good as Android tablets. The speakers are nice so I use this tablet as a music player while I play games and surf the web on my cheaper tablet.

This is a nice tablet functionality is pretty great just wish it had better sound and no special offers which it chargers you if u take them off.

Writing this review after 4 years and this tablet still works like the first day, It had some wifi issues when new but after a regular software update issues are gone, and still works great, screen quality is great.

Well I've had my new Kindle Fire for a little over a month now. Overall very happy with it, but there are enough changes with how it works, where things are, how the cover fits on it, that I am struggling a bit and not as happy with ease of use as the old one. I will say it holds a charge better and graphics are improved (and I was happy with the old one)!

I got this for Mother’s Day since I wanted to stream videos while cooking and cleaning. It does the job well and is great for reading ebooks when I’m done feeding my family. It’s a nice size and doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. Much more cost effective than an iPad.

My mom had a kindle fire for several years and it kept crashing. So we went to Best Buy and the tablet she wanted was on sale, so she bought one. It is a bit wider than her old one and easier for her to see. She is loving it! So - now she is using BOTH devices until her old one completely dies.

I bought this to put on my treadmill so I can watch Netflix while I run and it has worked flawlessly for that. Holds a charge great, and always boots as expected. I did add a matte screen cover to reduce the glare somewhat from sunlight coming into the room.

I purchased this for my wife to use to listen to when she was working around the house, very easy to set up and has a great sound at a very reasonable price, she love it so much that she had me buy a second one for the bedroom.

I love to read and can't see as well as I used to. This kindle is perfect to see books, movies and tv shows
