Don’t like the fact that I can only go on Amazon sited nothing else

Geek squad took my new kindle and transfeR ed t FROM OLDd now it doesn't work at ALL poor service 2DAY

Slow delivery. Promised delivery date not met. Tracking still shows in transit

Stop working in 20 days and when I returned it I got down graded to Fire 7

This kindle I bought is awful I can’t hardly cut it on and off

Didn't work very well for me. I had to charge it too often.

Died 2 days after purchase. Bottom of the barrel lemon.

Kept freezing and lagging on the apps, very slow..

I don’t really know where to start, as a tablet it’s good, nice big screen looks clear for certain things but it’s really only good if you’re just SUPER into Amazon for whatever reason. I bought it because I was looking to upgrade and the big and reputable-ish name of the company and general years they’ve been making them, made them seem to be pretty good or they’d gone off the market. But sadly after a year of use the tablet is just a big Amazon pain in the butt. Everything is Amazon, you have to almost disable Amazon defaults completely just to have them stop bugging you. They say it runs on Android and it does but not really and it has almost no apps. Basically Facebook, Reddit, Pandora, IMDB. That’s it. Games are garbage to look at and popular ones aren’t in the Amazon App Store and the games that are, are B-grade ripoffs of popular ones. Now what I found out after buying the device, even after my own diligent research of products, like I do before buying anything. I didn’t know Amazon and Google are in a sorta legal battle/ war with each other, so you can’t get ANY Google apps. You don’t realize how many Google owns till you can’t get them and yes their are work arounds but I don’t want to have to work around, I’d just like to buy and use like I’m sure many of you would too. The price is good but software is garbage. In a few years I’ll go back to a real Android tablet.

Exceeded my expectations..! The screen feels more beautiful than my iPad air....big screen makes it better for video viewing.. And always-on Alexa is awesome..it can act as echo show when not in use which makes it better alternative to google homehub

I bought this as an early Christmas gift during the week of Black Friday. Since this my third Amazon tablet I decided to up grade To a 10" tablet . The picture quality is Awesome !! I'm so glad they added Alexa features is a bonus !!. It's worth my investment and the money too. I'm very pleased with my 3 rd purchase .

I had an HDX Kindle fire and it was great! it lasted for 5 years. When the battery wouldn't charge on the old Kindle I decided to get a new Kindle, I saw a big difference right away, while the new Kindle was bigger, it wasn't better, on the 8th day of owning the new Kindle it stopped charging it would only charge at 65% and then nothing after that, I took it back to Best Buy I wanted to exchange it for a new one because I got it on sale for $100 but they didn't have any more in the store so I wasn't able to get it that day and when they finally got more in the sale was over and now I'm waiting for a new sale so I can try again.

Cheap Tablet. Great screen and sounds quality. The Amazon app store is awful. Facebook does not work. Direct Tv Now and Vudu do not exist.

I received this recently and it is very good for reading audiobooks and reading books and doing other things for a very low price!

This is my 8th kindle fire that I have purchased for Christmas gifts & birthdays They are the absolute best gifts for any age

This tablet is a DISAPPOINTMENT and I am DISAPPOINTED in Amazon for making such a TERRIBLE product. I had my eyes on it for a while and when it went on sale for $99 in November, I bought it because my Samsung Tab S, which I now mostly use as my Kindle, is slowly dying after years of use. I really had high hopes for the Amazon Fire 10, because while it was not a Samsung Tab S, it did have a nice screen and I figured I could use it as my Kindle once the Samsung dies. However, after almost 2 months of owning it, I HATE it and WISH I could take it back and get a refund for the following reasons: 1. The screen goes blank unexpectedly. 2. When the screen goes blank, I have to make repeated attempts to unlock it because when I do, it immediately goes blank again. 3. Issues unlocking the screen at startup, pause, and time out, same issue as mentioned above. This happens REPEATEDLY and can take it up to 10 - 15 minutes before it stops going blank. 4. The Silk Browser is the ONLY one you can use, you can't use Google Chrome and/or Mozella Firefox. 5. It freezes at times and becomes unresponsive. 6. It sometimes will not boot up after pushing the power button, even after being fully charged. Now, maybe I just got one that was faulty and I'm about to contact Amazon about these issues. I understand that it is not a Samsung, Apple, and/or Microsoft Tablet, and as such is limited in terms of performance, but I've bought cheaper no-brand tablets that have performed WAY BETTER than this. I bought my Sister an 8" for Christmas last year and she LOVES it, even though she has periodically encountered the same issues as me, but not as frequent.

Absolutely surpassed my expectations! I have an iPad as well and find myself grabbing the fire more often. Smooth operation and great display!

I bought this in 2018 and it still works perfectly. Absolutely no problems at all.

Worst tablet ever. The hardware is old and outdated. The wireless it awful. The build quality is very cheap and flimsy. My screen cracked UNDER a screen protector. A plastic body is poor design. Also, the Alexa app is very stripped on this. You cannot use any streaming services besides Amazon one. No hulu through alexa, youtube, or spotify. The app store lacks any major app. Youtube must be watched through the browser, which is much slower than any phone. I wish I bought a Samsung.

I have only good things to say about the Fire Tablet. It has never had any issues and I enjoy it a lot.
