Its also good for streaming videos or tv. I would recommend it to anyone. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is Amazon pushes ads and you can't customize the home screen or lock screen. This is my second kindle fire. I bought one 6 years ago. This was an upgrade. I will stick with the Amazon kindle fire. The price is unbeatable for what this tablet can do.

There are so many apps that are NOT compatible with this. We should have researched further into this device before purchasing. We urge ALL customers to do your due diligence and RESEARCH a product thoroughly before purchasing - so it doesn't turn into a paper=weight.

Good for what it is but...

I am not a big fan of the silk browser but that is all that is available. Not a great selection of apps. And the operating system in itself is mediocre.
