My son accidentally cracked the screen to my last tablet took it to the geek squad to get it fixed because I had the warranty but they couldn’t so I used my credit for the amazon fire I love you have to google how to get the android App Store on it but besides no issues

Yes you can add Google play. It's no big deal to do it and the simple instructions are all over the net. 1080p+ screen pretty loud speakers with a 10.1" screen is a huge bargain by any standard but $100 on sale is a steal. I seriously wonder if it can be manufactured for "1" bill.

The Fire 10 is a nice little tablet for the money. The screen resolution is pretty good, and it's fast. While it's not as good as an iPad, it also isn't nearly as expensive as an iPad either. The available apps are somewhat limited. But for the average user it should be plenty.

Decent tablet for the money. The screen is easy to read. it is faster than our older 7" Samsung. The speed is appreciably faster. The only complaint my wife has is, that she can't download Google Hangouts. That having been said, The Amazon Fire is an excellent tablet for the money and one would need time to learn to use it to its fullest capability.

Got it when it was on sale. A good substitute for Ipad if you are only interest in browsing the net. Light weight.

The size of this tablet is excellent for reading and not to mention the price compared to other similar tablets.

This was a gift purchase. The earlier version had stopped working for unknown reason, so purchased this newer version. The screen is very sharp and the available application that run on it are extensive. With the extra capacity, playing Netflix, Amazon, or YouTube videos is fast and easy.

Best bang for the buck if you don't mind ads or an occasional glitch here and there with the screen? I think the quality could be better (glitchyness), but it works pretty darn good for the price and is pretty fast too. Oh, screen is beautiful with zero issues. I'd buy over again if I needed one, which I don't.

This Fire Tablet replaces an old Kindle Fire 8". The tablet was on sale and with the trade-in value, it was a great value. The larger screen is nice for reading and it is not heavy to hold. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase and would recommend the Fire Tablet.

I absolutely love my new tablet. It takes great pictures and has an awesome screen. The screen is so clear.

Responsive. long battery life the only problem is not a whole lot of cases for it?? I’m sure they are coming

If u just want a tablet for internet use, basic app use and movies for traveling... this is a great option!

If you've bought into Amazon Prime (...and why wouldn't you ) this is the tablet for you! The screen resolution is fantastic , the processor is fast, and you can add memory via an sd card. The size of the screen isn't as big as a iPad , but it's big enough. For the price you can't beat it.

This is my third Kindle. I love the convenience of it. Smaller than most. Large enough for comfortable reading. Can be taken anywhere. Camera is great. Perfect for storing and reading books. At this time I'm storing over two hundred books. Screen is sharp and clear. Can download most apps. No major complaints.

I had a 7 inch for years and upgraded to the 10 and I would do it again in a minute! A great size if you are elderly or have some eye issues! The picture is clear and just beautiful! So easy to use as they have come a long way from my 7 inch! I would definitely purchase again!!

My husband is vision impaired, and was having a very difficult time reading the local news and NY Times on my Samsung Galaxy tablet. The font was never "crisp" enough, and he would accidentally, and frequently, touch areas on the tablet that would cause the page disappear or jump to another section, etc. It was a constant battle for him. After a considerable amount of research and reading customer reviews, I purchased the Amazon Fire HD 10 for his birthday. I preloaded everything he likes to read, and it was ready to go the minute he woke up that day... HE LOVES THIS TABLET! The font is crisp and clean, the tablet easy to navigate, and I don't have to "fix it" for him every ten minutes! Plus it is Alexa connected, so he can just ask a question without having to go to Google. Don't hesitate to purchase this for yourself or another person who needs something that's not too complicated... it is awesome for the price!!!

This is a nice tablet that has the technical capacity to be useful but the user must do a lot of work to realize the full value of this device. First, forget what anyone says about Amazon's ad screens being benign and unobtrusive. It is not true. They are obnoxious, annoying and significantly interfere with the enjoyment of the device. I hope to be able to root that out. First step is to get Google Play onto the device that Amazon, in its infantile business acumen, shuts out of the Fire tablets. Next step is to clear out the Amazon bloatware; that's where I am now. The internet has instructions to do this. The holy grail will be if I can remove the ads after getting all the other Amazon stuff off of there. At that point I will have realized full value for this device. This was a great deal from Best Buy and delivery was fast and efficient. With the above in mind, I can recommend this device and recommend its purchase from Best Buy.

I upsized my Amazon Fire from a 7 inch to this 10 inch one and the difference is wonderful! Watching Netflix shows is much more enjoyable!

Improved display and processing speed over the last generation. Hands free Alexa is great. I installed a 256GB micro SD so I have ample room for pictures, movies, and music. Good sound and display help when watching Prime Movies. Improved battery life over the last generation Fire 10.
